Council Minutes of 11-6-74 -6- <br />Resolution No. 74-148 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Service bisector to advertise far bids for one (1) <br />3/4 ton pick-up truck and one (1) 1 ton truck, stake body type, far the North <br />Olmsted Sanitary. Treataent Facilities, and authorizing the l~yor to contract for <br />same. <br />Resolution No. 74-149 was intrwducad '#ry Pbrs. Sharpe at-d given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizit~ the Sas~^l.ca ~-l.rector to advertise for bids for the <br />installation of ap@roxl:Mataly ~#4' of guard rails on Claque Read north of Virginia <br />Avenue, and authorizing the Igor to contract for same. <br />Resolution No. 74150 ttas introduced by Mr. Glasser and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only St. Breadapa Svcdivision in <br />The City of North Olmsted. <br />Mr. Giessen roved to postpone Ras. Na. 74-151 to date certain of er 19, <br />1974, seconded by Mr. Goggi.n. Affirsntive vote: Glasser, G~gin, Lampert, <br />Saringer, Sharpe, ties t, iii3awsky. taotion carried. Res. No. 74151 postponed <br />to date certain of Novenbar 19, 1974. Law Director Gareau aacp].a-i~rd legis- <br />lation was prepared and appeeared on agenda. Mr. Glasser gam: reason for gost- <br />onenent of the legislation. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Giessar requested legislation regarding the Brookpark Relocation requesting <br />the State to review the Brookpark relocation as per the ply which ties been <br />developed by Biakind S Shur and with the City. <br />Mr. Limpert requested legislation for payment on emergency sewer repairs in the <br />Hunter -Deerfield Dries area; also legislation to revise the Organisational <br />Chart for the Treatment Plant. <br />Mr. Wi2.aswsky as a Member of Envirotal Control Comeittee, requested that <br />the Asheinistration supply the ~tvira~satai Control Cc~ittee with similar <br />figures that Mr. Lint had requested regarding leaf pickup; as to cost to <br />cities of surrounding caiti~str on collection and projactsd cost for leaf <br />pickup by using a vacuum vehicle as compared to the conventional pickup of <br />leaves in bags. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Sariager requested Clerk to send notice to the Building Cc-n~clssioner asking <br />him to send notice to ail gas station operators to inform then of our recent <br />ordinance on posting of prices so that they can conform to the ordinance. <br />Mrs. Sharpe requested legislation for the demolition of an unsafe structure at <br />4324 Root Rd. <br />Mr. Wilamosky addrassad Council regarding the removal of the rescue squad from <br />the fire station at the western end of the City: tom. Wilmsosky discussed the <br />area the rescue vetilcle nerves:. is not sure if all Mead~ers of Council are aware <br />of the move: at the present tine both rescue vehicles are nor stationed at the <br />eastern end of the City and Mr. Wi}.amosky requested ttn: Safety Casssittae to <br />make inquiry as to the raasotes this vehicle was roved from the station at the <br />western end of the City and report back to Council.
