Council Minutes of 9-17-74 -3- <br />7} reviewed parking of Sambo's Restaurant - Committee received detailed landscaping <br />plans and revised plans snd they do meet fallowing requirements. Requirements <br />are still placed on the restaurant - approval is subject to aaa easement with <br />Mr. Roth for sewers; subject to the widening of the driveway to 35 ft.; to knock <br />out two parking spaces on the west driveway and that those were to be made into <br />a green area; knock out one parking space on the east of the driveway and that also <br />was made into a green area. Location of restaurant was given and type. <br />Mr. Giesser moved to approve the parking of 3smbo's Restaurant, seconded by Mr. <br />Goggin. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Mr. Giesser scheduled a B.ZbD. Committee feting on September 26, 1974, 8:00 P.M., <br />City Aall. <br />Re Recreation Committee, Mr. Giesser stated it has been announced that there is <br />a Public Rearing on the Rec Co~pluc on October 10, 1974 here at City Aall. The <br />location of the meeting has been c~ due to the number of people who may be <br />interested in the project. The Meeting will be held at the Junior Aigh School <br />in the Auditorium on October 10, 1974, 8:00 Y.M. <br />Mr. Lampert, Chairman Finance Committee, stated Coesaittee is still waiting for <br />information pertaining to possible changes in Engineering Permit Pees. <br />Mr. Wilamoskp, Chairman Intra Goverameental Relations & Legislation Committee, <br />scheduled a Legislation Committee Meeting on September 2b, 1974, 7:30 P.M., <br />City Aall. <br />Mr. West, Chairman Transportation Commdttee, stated next Transportation Com:ittee <br />Meeting will be on September 23, 1974; and at that time Committee will go through <br />in detail the operation of the bus line and financial status of same at the moment <br />and whether we can cut dam expenses enough to compensate for the increased costs <br />or whether we have to increase the fates. <br />President O'Neill requested Mr. Wilamosky to take into his Committee request of <br />Mayor of appointment of Mr. Jahn Roberts. Mr. Wilamosky will appreciate if the <br />Mayor would submit to Committee a brief resume of Mr. Roberts. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mayy S1ama, 4512 Oak Circle, addressed Council and asked Mayor Christman if a <br />seventh member has been appointed to the Human Resources Board. Discussion <br />ensued. <br />Mr. Bob Betz, Douglas Drive, addressed Cauncil regarding work Jaycees are doing <br />pertaining to the Rec Complex. <br />Mr. Aarvey Denk, West Park Drive, addressed Council pertaining to legislation <br />on posting of gasoline prices - if same is coming up tonight. Mrs. Beringer <br />stated no. <br />Mr. Dick Horton, 4673 Williams ton Drive, addressed Council stating the Pine <br />Ridge Homeowners Assn. is not in favor of the Brookpark Extension because of <br />no consideration given to the traffic dumping out onto Dover Center Rd. Not <br />against the Extension per se but just the way it is presented so far. Lengthy <br />discussed ensued. <br />
