Council Minutes of 9-17-74 -4- <br />Mr. Bill Bruton, Kew Drive, addressed Council pertaining to Brookpark Extension <br />and County. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Delmar Ernest, 30106 Lorain Rd., addressed Council pertaing to certain wording <br />on Ord. No. 74-I28. Mr. Wilamasky and Mr. Gardau discussed same. <br />Mr. Dick Spaeth, Tudor Drive, addressed Council pertaining to recycling program <br />for City. Discussion ensued. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 74-52 introduced by Mayor Christman was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution declaring it necessary to construct the Brookpark Rand Extension <br />in the City of North Oladsted, aacl declaring an emergency. Mr. West moved for <br />adoption, seconded by Mr. Lampert. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Coggin, Lampert, <br />Sharpe, West. Negative vote: Saringer, Wilamoskq. 5 Yeas - 2 Nays - Matson <br />defeated. (Legislation 74-52 must have three-fourths of Council 1~bers concurring.) <br />Ordinance No. 74-113 introduced by Mr. Coggin was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance accepting for dedication portions of Wisteria Drive, Kew Drive, <br />Andorra Drive and Gardenia Drive in North Park Estates Subdivision No. 2. Mr. <br />Coggin moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Giesser, <br />Coggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried Ord. No. <br />74-113 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 74-111 introduced by Mr. Wilamasky was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance amending the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted by <br />creating a new Chapter 1703 entitled "Early Warning Fire Detection Systems" of <br />the Fire Prevention Code, as amended. <br />Resolution No. 74-120 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution assuring the Federal Insurance Administrator and other Gaverm~ental <br />Authorities of the intent of the City of North Olam ted, Ohio, to take necessary <br />steps to comply with the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 74-121 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance requiring Spacial Review of proposed structures and subdivisions <br />in the area designated as flood grove. <br />Resolution No. 74-122 introduced by Mr. Giesser was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only Sindelar Subdivision in the <br />City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 74-126 introduced by Mr. iaest was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution of intent on the part of the City of North Olmsted to make participating <br />funds available for a Federal Grant for the purchase of buses, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Resolution No. 74x127 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and gives its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tan levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. <br />Ordinance No. 74-128 was introduced by Mr. idilamosky and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 1173.02 entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses" <br />of Chapter 1173 entitled "General Retail Business District" of the Zoning <br />Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />
