Council Minutes of 9-17-74 -5- <br />Resolution No. 74-129 was introduced by Mrs. Saringer. A Resolution ogposing <br />the increase in rates sought by the Ohio Bell Telephone Company and implorang <br />the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio not to grant said conte~eplated rate <br />increase, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moveed for suspension of rule <br />requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Wilascsky. Affira~etive vote: <br />Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilatwsky. Negative vote: Gieeser, Loggia, West. <br />Motion defeated. Res. No. 74-129 reverted to first reading. <br />President O'Neill referred Ordinance No. 74-13G to Mr. Jilin West, Chairman <br />Transportation Committee. <br />Resolution No. 74-131 was introduced by Mr. Lippert and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Di~ctor of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />for 3,500 tons of salt, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same. <br />Resolution No. 74-132 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bide <br />for 2000 tone of cinders and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same. <br />Resolution No. 74-133 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Service: Director to advertise for bids for recapping <br />of tires for the automotive equipment of the City, and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same. <br />Resolution No. 74-134 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Service Director to advertise for bids for new tires <br />and tubes for use by the City, and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same. <br />In co~ection with Ordinance No. 74-135 Mr. Lampert explained the change in the <br />ordinance is the addition of a Chemist. Due to the State requiring reports of <br />the chemistry of water in the Wastewater Treatment Plant would like this passed <br />on emergency . <br />Ordinance No. 74-135 was introduced by Mr. Lampert. An Ordinance establishing <br />an Organizational Chart for the Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Collection System <br />and Lift Stations, a section of the Public Works Division of the City of North <br />Opted, setting forth the personnel needed and establishing the re~uneratioa for <br />certain employees of said division and repealing Ord. No. 73-73 enacted July 17, <br />1973 and Ord. No. 74-93 enacted June 18, 1974, and declaring an emergency. Mr. <br />Lampert moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings, seconded <br />by Mrs. Sharpe. Affirmative vote: Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, W1lamosky. Negative <br />vote: Gieeser, Goggan, Weat. 4 Yeas - 3 Nays - Motion defeated. Ordinance No. <br />74-135 reverted to First Reading. <br />Resolution No. 74-136 was introduced by Mr. Gieeser and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only D. J. Caldwell Subdivision in <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 74-i37 was introduced by Mr. Gieeser and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution accepting far recording purposes only the Thomas Nisius Re-Subdivision <br />in the City of North Olmsted. <br />
