Council Minutes of 5-21-74 <br />_3- <br />Mrs. Beringer, Chairman Bnviron~ttal Control tomAittee and Lang Range Flanning <br />Committee, reported following: 1) have asked Law Director for a resalwtion to <br />support the Board of Trustees of Liverpool Township, otherwise known as Valley <br />City, in their request that the Ohio 8nviranmental Protection Ae;y hold a <br />public hearing concerning the prop~ad Harry Rock Lsaidfill operation. It was <br />determined that the operation of the lat-dtill by Harry Rock in Valley City would <br />endanger the health, safety and s~elfare of the residents of this City because <br />the portion of the landfill located the flood plain of the west braneh of <br />Rocky River would contaminate the sail of the banks, and then pollute the waters <br />of said river. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Huntington, 29701 Wellington Drive, addressed Council on wording of Ord. No. <br />74-64 Ord. Nos. 74-63 and 74-64 are to be adopted together and same was <br />explained to Mr. Huntington. <br />Mrs. Gladys Zipp, 29658 Lorain Rd., addressed Council on Res. No. ?4-54 and <br />suggested it be corrected to read "Cuyahoga" instead of "Cleveland" M.A.A. <br />Mr. Bill Bruton, 4577 Kew Drive, addressed Council on Brookpark Extension at <br />length. <br />Wilma Davies, 4322 Martin Drive, addressed Council regarding Ord. No. 74-58 and <br />expressed her views on same. <br />Mr. Levstek, 5930 Canterbury Rd., addressed Council regarding Forest City Cos~pany <br />Enterprise - proposed condominus~s on Aomelinks Golf Course in the Township; storm <br />water and sanitary sewer system, traffic, in relation to City of North Olmsted. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Zettler, Bliaabeth Lane, Township, addressed Council regarding proposed <br />condominiums in Township and discussed whether anything pertaining to North Olsen ted <br />was already approved by this City. Discussion continued. Mr. West requested <br />Mayor Christman to direct a letter to Forest City Enterprises going on record that <br />this City is not going to automatically approve anything and this mgt be submcitted <br />to the City of North Olmsted for approval on both storm drainage and sanitary <br />drainage in this developteent. So far this City has not seen anything. President <br />O'Neill and Mr. West suggested letter go to not only Forest City but also to the <br />Township Trustees. <br />Mrs. Florence Chabek, 5830 Canterbury Rd., addressed Council regarding proposal <br />o€ Forest City Enterprises on ~-mellnks Golf Course; storm drainage, etc. <br />Mr. Zettler, Elizabeth Lane, addressing Council on Community Cabin usage. <br />Mr. McLaughlin, Barton Rd., addressing Gouncii speaking in favor of auctions at <br />the Community Cabin. <br />Mr. Davies, Martin Drive, addressed Council regarding Community Cabin usage. <br />Mrs. Beringer stated she is concerned with taxpayers of North Olmsted and discussed <br />subject with Mx. Davies. <br />Mr. Dick Spaeth, Tudor Drive, addressed Council on Ord. No. 74-75; also Recreational <br />Center. <br />
