Council Minutes of 4-2-74 -3- time went on, improvement. Big selling point is that they would lotaer-the fares and substitute a tax in place of it. People Addressing Council: Mrs. Gladys Zipp, 296S8 Lorain Road, addressed Council and Administration regarding uncapped gas wells. Discussion ensued. Mr. Bud Crock, 5953 Porter Rd., addressed Council regarding severer that runs under his driveway. Same will be checked out. Mr. Tom Doroney, 5948 Burns Rd., addressed Council regarding sewer that runs under his driveway and garage. Report to ga to Streets & Drainage Committee. LEGISLATION: Resolution No. 74-28 introduced by Mr. Giesser was given its third reading. A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only Simmons Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Giesser moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Gaggin. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Walamosky. Motion carried. Res. No. 74-28 adopted. Ordinance No. 74-32 introduced by Mr. Wilamsoky was given its second reading. An Ordinance amending Section 1357.11 entitled "Emergency Power and Lighting" of Chapter 1357 entitled "Electrical Code" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted by adding a new sub-section "E" requiring urgency power and lighting in office buildings. Resolution No. 74-35 introduced by Ms. Giesser was given its second reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for the improvement of City owned land located on the southwest corner of Barton and Bradley Roads and autho;~izing the Mayor to contract fox saw, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Giesser moved for suspension of rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Lampert. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Mr. Giesser moved for adoption, seconded by I~Ir. Lampert. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Coggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Walamosky. Motion carried. Res. No. 74-35 adopted. Ordinance No. 74-39 was introduced by Mr. West and given its first reading. An Ordinance establishing compensation to be paid to the Bus Drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line and repealing Ordinance N0. 73-76, enacted July 17, 1973, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 74-40 was introduced by Mr. West and given its first reading. An Ordinance establishing compensation to be paid to the Maintenance Employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line and repealing Ord. No. 73-75, enacted July 17, 1973, and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 74-41 was intxoduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading.
