<br />Ordinance No. 74-16 was introduced by Mrs. Sharpe and given its first reading.
<br />An Ordinance amending Section 139.18 entitled "Copies of Reports: Charges"
<br />of Chapter 139 entitled "Department of Public Safety" of the Administrstive Code
<br />of the City of North Olmsted.
<br />Ordinance No. 74-17 was introduced by Mr. Lampert and given its first reading.
<br />An Ordinance authorizing the payment of $110S.S0 to Ann Cavallo for a moral
<br />claim involving the City of North Olmsted.
<br />Resolution No. 74-18 was introduced by Mr. Giesser. A Resolution accepting for
<br />recording purposes only Sandy Ridge Subdivision No. 10 in the City of North
<br />Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Giesser moved for suspension of rule
<br />requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Goggin, Affirmative vote:
<br />Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamsoky. Mr. Giesser moved
<br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. Goggin. Affirmative vote; Giesser, Goggin,
<br />Lampert, SAringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamsoky. Motion carried. Rea. No. 74-18 adopted.
<br />Resolution No. 74-19 was introduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading.
<br />A Resolution authorizing the purchase by the City of North Olmsted of two graves
<br />in Lot No. 771 in Butternut Ridge Cemetery from Mrs, 0. C. Burch.
<br />Ordinance No. 74-20 was introduced by Mr. Giesser and given its first reading.
<br />An Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to ester into a contract with Roster &
<br />Associates, architects, for the pra~paration of detailed plans, specifications
<br />and cost estimates for the construction of a Recreation Center in the City of
<br />North Olmsted.
<br />Resolution 1?0. 74-21 was introduced by Mr, Lampert. A Resolution commending
<br />achievement of Eagle Scout At~e-rd in boy scouting. Mr. Lampert moved for suspension
<br />of rules requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Giesser. Affirmative
<br />vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Mr. Lampert
<br />read Resolution in its entirety. Mr. Lampert moved for adoption, seconded by Mr.
<br />Giesser. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, SAringer, Sharpe, West,
<br />tdilamsoky. Motion carried. Res. No. 74-21 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 74-22 was introduced by Mr. Lampert. An Ordinance authorizing
<br />the Mayor to enter into an agreement with Fairview General hospital with respect
<br />to the liabilities of the parties in the joint operation of transmission of
<br />electro-cardiograms, and declaring an urgency. Mr. Lampert moved for suspension
<br />of rule requiring three separate readings, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote:
<br />Giesser, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Mr. Lampert moved
<br />for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Giesser, Goggin, Lampert,
<br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 74-22 adopted.
<br />Under Old Business:
<br />Mr. Lampert referred to following items: 1) trailer being used by Parker Reynolds
<br />as a sales office - have note from Building Dept. that renewal of perffiE.t wi11 be
<br />requested and feels action should be taken by Council to determine if this permit
<br />should be extended for use as a sales office; 2) requested to be placeRd in
<br />Legislation Comtaittee the use of semi trailers storing merchandize outside of
<br />commercial establishments. Building Dept. advises there is na legis~.aton governing
<br />same. President O'Neill referred subject matter to Mr. ~Tilamas&y, Chairman
<br />Legislation Committee for review and study.
