Council Minutes of 12-16-75 -4- <br />request of Law Director for additional help to beadle some of the: tax rebate <br />problems and arbitration prabless with our City workers. The persona are: <br />P~ami.e Albright, Lois VaaAuken, Richard Fetzer, hick DelGiudice, 3swres Rsdovian <br />and Almera Reitz. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved that Council approve the Mayor's recommendatiosrs for <br />apgointmant to the Landmarks Corati:sos~ for a ts~ cos~sancing Jcy 1, 1976, <br />seconded by Mr. Goggia. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Goggin, Lampert, Saringer, <br />Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.. <br />Mr. West, Chairman Transportation Ctmrlrittss, reported Transportation Cossattee <br />met on December 8, 1975, and discussaxt a nu~ber of traffic satuatisns: <br />1) the 25 mph on Walter Rd.; the traffic lisht recomwended for Walter Rd. end <br />Lorain Rd.; the traffic light record ferr flee R+ec Center entramce at Lorain <br />Rd. ; and a traffic light at $a~tdy & Bx~rttea~mrt Ridge Rd. Cossi.ttee asked the <br />Safety Director to have the Police D~art~t make a traffic svrvay at these <br />locations and on Walter Rd. and supply figwces which will either recossrsad or <br />recommend against these requests; <br />2) reviewed Laurel Woods Subdiviaioa amd they had recommended seven stop signs <br />in this area and Commitluehas agreed with the recommendations. <br />Mr. West moved that the Traffic Control Map of licrth Olasted be end <br />the Safety Director be directs~I to install stop signs at the follow locations: <br />(1) Marcie Lane at Lsurell Lane; (2) Marcie Laae at Dover Center Road; (3) Pine <br />Circle at &tgepark Blvd.; (4) Pine Circle at Marquette Blvd.; (5) Lusaadra <br />Circle at Laurell Lane; (6) Mary 1Cay Circle at Marquette Blvd.; (7) Lisa Lane <br />at Marquette Blvd., seconded by Mr. ~ggin. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Goggin, <br />Lampert, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wil~sky. Motion carried. <br />3) discussed report from the State sad our Bngiaeering Department oa the <br />Brookpark Relocation and the Corittes decided flat as far as the Ca~#atee <br />is concerned wi11 let this project drop; and if there is another project on it <br />that it be a new project and be brou~t up with new facts available. <br />Mrs. Saringer referred to the speed lisiit on Walter Rd. stating that the <br />legislation will go to the State 8ighway Dapt. to get their traffic survey. <br />
