Council Minutes of 3-i8-75 -3- <br />Mr. Giesser, Chairman Building, Zoning & Development Committee and Recreation, <br />Public Parks & Buildings Committee reported the B.Z.&.D. Committee met on March <br />16, 1975 and discussed following: 1) Chrysler Realty Corporation Subdivision at <br />which time they recommended approval sad legislation is pen-ding this evening; <br />2) moved into discussion of the resoning of Bradley Rd. from industrial to <br />residential at a Committee msetiag of approuiaately ail of Council -Committee as <br />a Whole - at that meeting the Council as a Whole decided to go for the reaoaimg <br />of this from light industry to reesidential. This evening hays received another <br />petition with respect to thfs property; amd two of the aee~e:rs on the original <br />petition (there were. about ll oat the origieeel petition) have stritched sides and <br />now they are reQuesting that the prc~erty be left as light try. There 'are <br />ten signatures on this petition: if pcu take two off of the original petition and <br />add to petition received this er~tiag - it would mske it ten tc nine saying they <br />want it left the way it is. The acraege on this petition is approxietately three <br />times that of that which is on otiaer petition. Would like to take dais back <br />into Committee, review it. There will be a Committee meeting cat March 25th, 8:30 P.M., <br />and if Members of Council will attend ate can discuss this further and dispose of it <br />once and for ail; <br />3) discussed another potential re=oaing of Mr. Dindia and it was felt by Council <br />as a thole that the property ba 2eft the arsy it was recommended on the proposed <br />Comprehensive Plan. Again at that steeling discussed a nuo~er of small areas on <br />the Comprehensive Plan that chid ant soiree#~e with what the re ations were <br />and these changes were made. Cwrnitteer abed discussed the Bradley <br />Road recreational area that is being davealopsd. The surrounding neiors are <br />questioning w'tether or not their property rifts will be interfered with by uses <br />of the recreational area; and re~uesx far a fosse is being substdtted to the Finance <br />Committee at a cost of approxiaatsly $1504. They are reviewing it in their financial <br />picture to see whether or not the City can afford a fence at least on one side of <br />the recreation area. <br />Mr. Wilaaeosky discussed with Mr. Giesser his consents regarding Mr. Dindia's <br />property. Mx. Giesser isadicatsd it was the consensus of Council. as a Whole. Mr. <br />Wilamosky attended that meeting earlier in the evening on dsau~ion of Barton <br />& Bradley Roads; and asked if Mr. Giesser was ruts it was Coucecil as a Whole sad <br />not a reconmendatioa of Mr. Gieassr's Coasti,ttee. Mr. Giesser slid it mi~at have <br />been a reeoma~ndation of the Coam3ttse. A lot of members left because the meetixsg <br />went on to 11:30 p.m. I~ knons the C+dned.ttee was there as a whole during the <br />entire procuedure. Does not think everyone was there from beginning to end. <br />Mr. Limpert, Chairman Finance Committee, reported Committee is contimting negotia- <br />tions with the Fire and Police and. will hays another meeting and hope to be able <br />to report something out. <br />Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Tntra Gover:ntsntal Relations & Legislation Camn3.ttee, <br />reported Committee met and discussed sled reviewed following: l} Request from <br />the Mayor for approval of Mr. Theodore J. Rafeld, k71b Carsten Lane, to the <br />Planning Comtoission for a-term of five years. Committee recomanends approval. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to approve the appointment of Mr. Theodore 3. Rafeld to <br />the Planning Commission for a tats to empire 12/31179. Motion seconded by Mr. <br />Goggin. Affirmative vote: Giessex, Goggn, Limpert, Saxinger, Sharpe, Werst, <br />~Jilamosky.
