Council Minutes of 3-1$-75 <br />_q- <br />Ordinance No. 75-7k was iatroducecl by Mr. Gaggin axed given its first reading, <br />An Ordinance asieading the Traffic Control ~P and Pile of the City of North <br />Olmsted to provide for the installation of stop sins at the "T" intersection <br />of Byron Drive and Fielding Drive. Pre~sidsnt Pro Tea Saringeer referred Ord. <br />No. 75-74 into Transportation Ccrsndttee. <br />Resolution No. 75-75 was introduced hY Imo. Qieaser seed given its first reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Safet~r t}ix~sctor to advertise for bids for two <br />backstops for the City's baseba3l fields. <br />Ordinance Na. 75-76 was introduced by Mr. Giessen and given its first re~ediseg. <br />An Ordinance authorizing an additi+ar~l diture of $i, 561. for the digging <br />of an elevator shaft at the Recreatioez Canter site in the City of North 03,a~ted. <br />Resolution No. 75-77 introduced by Mr. Giessen was given its first rending. A <br />Resolution accepting for recording purpsses only Chrysler Realty Corporation <br />Subdivision is the City of North Opted. <br />Ordinance No. 75-7$ was introduced by Mr. Giessen sad given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance accepting an easement for reran-yard sewers on West 308th Street <br />froea Hennie Corporation. <br />Resolution No. 75-79 was introduced by Mr. Goggia and given its first reading. <br />A Resolution requesting the Director of Ri.ghways of the State of 0leio tea deter~I.ne <br />and declare the reasaseable a~ safe prit~a facie speed linutt on Brookpeerk <br />(State Route 17) from the easterly Borth 02mate:d City Lieoits went to LQraia Roeud <br />(State Route 10) at 35 muss per hour, and declaring an emergency. President Pro <br />Tam Saringer referred Rea. No. 75-79 into Transportation Ca~eittee, <br />Ordinance No. 75-80 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance establishing the Orga~ed.~catio+real Chart of the Lax Dergartmatet of the <br />City of North Olmsted and establishing the salaries of the ueembers of the Law <br />nepartment, and repealing Ord. No. 72-185, sad declaring an eauarge~ecy. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mayor Christman referred to discexssion aoeaeti~e back pertaining to City advertising <br />for sale of a lot on which lift station at Asalea and Oring Drive useed to sit. The <br />Planning Commission has okayed it and would .like to recoaraeend that Council pass <br />legislation authorising the advertising for bids for -this lot. <br />Mr. Lampert discussed with Law Airector Gateau the property on Burns Rd, where <br />for sometime have been in contact with the estate of that prope'cty in order to <br />xelocate a waterway; and hie had no swocess. Mr. Lia~ert asked What further <br />legal procedure can be followed. Law Director Gateau staterd this has been 8 <br />one way conversation - -both Laa~ Director aged Clerk of Council have tried nu*eerous <br />times to get some cooperation. Mr. Gateau we~et to the point -because tbs only <br />thing in the estate was this particular lot -was to gather tageth~sr all of the <br />information for the attorneq in Medina County and practically prepared a release <br />of assets for him and he still has done aathing. Is to the point whets Law <br />Director Gateau does not know what else. to do to get cooperation from that cud; <br />could suggest appropriatitng it. Discussion ensues regarding cost to City. Mr. <br />Lampert to discuss this further. <br /> <br />
