<br />Ordinance No. 75-12 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading.
<br />An Ordinance establishing the position of Recreation Center Manager, and providing
<br />for the duties, qualifica*_ions and salary for said position.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-13 introduced by Mr. Lita~-ert was given its second reading. An
<br />Ordinance establishing hospitalization be~tefits for the Director of the Department
<br />of Human Resources.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-14 introduced by Mrs. Sbaz~pe was given its seed reading.
<br />An Ordinance authorizing the Building C+xerdasioner to proceed with tt~ deaaolition
<br />or removal of the buildings on permanent parcel No. 233-13-4 on Lorain Raad in
<br />the City of North Olmsted.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-15 introduced by Mr. Limpert was given its second reading. An
<br />Ordinance authorizing the issuance of X310,000 xenewal notes in anticipation of the
<br />issuance of bonds for the purpose of paying part of the cost of constructing a
<br />Police Administration Building and clearing, landscaping and otherwise improving
<br />the site thereof.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-I6 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading. An
<br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to eater into an agreement with
<br />the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, for the furnishing of bus transportation
<br />to the residents of the City of Fairview Park, Ohio, at the times and for the
<br />rates set forth in said agreement and repealing Ordinance No. 74-33, and declaring
<br />an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-17 introduced by Mr. West was given its second reading. An
<br />Ordinance granting reduced fares for senior citizens riding the North Olmsted
<br />Municigal Bus Line, and repealing Ordinance No. 72-53, enacted May lb, 1972.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-18 introduced by Mr. Went was given its second reading. An
<br />Ordinance ratifying and confirming the payment of overtime pay to municipal
<br />bus line employees at a rate of one and one-half times the base gate of pay for
<br />overtime worked, and authorising future payments during the pendency of litigation
<br />in the U.S. Supreme Court of a case challenging the Fair Labor Standards Act as
<br />respects municipal employees and declaring an emergency.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-19 was introduced by Mr. Limpert and given its first reading.
<br />An Ordinance amending Ord. No. 75-1 enacted January 7, 1975, being an ordinance
<br />to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City
<br />of North 0].msted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1975.
<br />Ordinance No. 75-24 was introduced by Mr. Lampert. An Ordinance establishing
<br />and fixing the compensation for all elected officials of the City of North Olmsted
<br />for the term of office comeending January 1, 1976, and ending Dece~+er 31, 1977,
<br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Lampert moved for suspension of rule requiring
<br />three separate readings, seconded by Mr. Giesser. Affirmative vote: Gieaser,
<br />Goggin, Lampert, Beringer, Sharpe, West. Negative vote: W1lamoaky. Mr. Lampert
<br />moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Giesser. Mr. Wilamosky stated he feels we
<br />do not have an excess ateount of funds that we can proceed to increase the salaries
<br />of the Mayor, Director of Law or Director of Finance. Comaends the Comerittee in
<br />area that governs the Council - did not increase their wages. Thinks the amount
<br />fret is being discussed is not that great but it could be used in other areas in
<br />other phases of the City.servicea; and cited examples. Mr. Limgert disused the
