Council Minutes of 11-16-76 -~- <br />and ttte smell and a few other things on our plant and yet inspite of all of the <br />extra costs - with chemicals, oper^tic~s and je*_ burning vapors, etc., our <br />operating costs are pretty much ii:. ...`.ne with w}iat the County has. Mr. West feels <br />that it does not ?:pp~:~.~ ~h=at tr~i~ ~ ~ a r-~:~,s.~ca'~le alternate to turning our facility <br />over to the Cour.-:y - tiaa will still have tt:e same bills. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mrs. Evelyn Knighton, 5676 Allendale Drive,. addressed Council and read letter and <br />presented same to Council wherein it was requested that the ruling of the Board <br />of Zoning Appeals with respect to granting a special permit to Friends Church be <br />reversed and -remanded to the Board with instructions to cause the resolution of <br />the parking facilities problem between the how owners and the Church representatives. <br />Lengthy discussion ensued. <br />Leah Nowlen, 5676 Allendale Drive, addressed Council with respect to objections of <br />the slag parking lot and lighting with respect to Friends Church as well as other <br />objections stating reasons therefor. Requested the President of Council disqualify <br />himself on any discussion and stated reasons therefor. <br />Mr. Chuck Blogna, 5197 Hampton Drive, addressed Council with respect to the flooding <br />condition in his area; discussed the meeting on October 2nd and suggestions given <br />at the time; also discussed street flooding and surface water around his home. <br />Discussion ensued with Mr. Childs and Mr. West. A meeting will be scheduled sometime <br />in December. <br />Mr. Ivan Susic, 5183 Hampton Drive, addressed Council with respect to the flooding <br />conditions in his area; discussed possible retention basins, etc. Discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Gemma Szabo, 30837 Bradley Rd., addressed Council with respect to supplies <br />for boothworkers at last election and stated the Board of Elections Director Brown <br />had answered her questions. <br />Mr. Joseph Koticha, 4341 Brendan Lane, addressed Council and requested Council <br />to vote for and in support of legislation 76-135 and explained reasons therefor. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 76-135 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted <br />to provide for the installation of stop signs at the "T" intersection of Cedarwood <br />Drive and Brendan Lane. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Ord. No. 76-135 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 76-151 introduced by Mr. Beaty was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance making additional appropriations for current expenses and other expendi- <br />tures for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending Decembex 31, 1976. <br />Mr. Beaty moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 76-151 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 76-153 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance accepting an easement far storm drainage facilities on Broxboume Rd. <br />from Anthony F. and Beverly A. Russo and Anthony M. and Isabel E. Russo. Mrs. <br />Saringer moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ord. No. 76-153 adopted. <br /> <br />
