Council Minutes of 10-19-76 <br />-3- <br />Mr. Joseph Corrigan, 6369 Brighton Drive, addressed Council regarding punch list <br />items that have not been completed at Rec Center Coa~lex and what would be the <br />effective date of any last change orders that were granted on the Rec Complex <br />with respect to guarantee. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Frank Lavelle, 5528 Berkshire Drive, addxessed Council on the subject of the <br />air conditioning system at the Rec Center and he understands this is constructed <br />with fiber glass duct work. Mr. Lavelle stated he has documeAtad information fxom <br />Health, Education & Welfare that he will give to Council and he would like to sea <br />the EPA run a test and see just how injurious it is to our health and asked for <br />Council approval. Lengthy discussion ensued. President Limpert referred same into <br />Environmental Control Committee. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 76-144 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance establishing a new Chapter 1217 entitled "Architectural ltevie~o Board" <br />of the Zoning Ordinances of the- City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 76-145 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />An Ordinance amending Section 1173.02 entitled "Permitted Buildings and Uses" <br />of Chapter 1173 entitled "General Retail Business District" of the Zoning Ordinances <br />of the City of North Olmsted, as asended. Mr. West verified that the B.Z.6D. <br />Committee has gone over all of the amendments. <br />Resolution No. 76-146 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Friends Church Subdivision <br />in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 76-147 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Barton-Bradley Subdivision <br />in the City o£ North Olmsted. Mrs. Sharpe moved for suspension of rule requiring <br />three separate readings, seconded by Mr. West. Mr. Wilamosky asked reason for <br />suspension. Mrs. Sharpe stated this had been discussed in Caucus - Mr. McDermott <br />received a call from Mr. Giesser requesting suspension because there is a house on <br />one of the lots and the owner would like to sell same. Roil Call on Motion: <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West. Negative vote: <br />Wilamosky. Mrs. Sharpe :moved £of~adoptis3a; seconded by Mr. West. No. 76-147 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 76-148 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution accepting far recording purposes only the Robert Kovach Subdivision <br />in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Resolution No. 76-149 introduced by Mr. Beaty was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />the purchase of two automobiles to be used by the Municipal Bus Line. <br />Resolution No. 76-150 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. <br />A Resolution appointing an Assessment Equalization Board to hear objections relative <br />to the assessments for the Mi11 Road Sidewalk .Improvement, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 76-15I was introduced by Mr. Beaty and given its first reading. <br />An Ordinance making additional appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December <br />31, 1976. <br /> <br />
