Council Minutes of 9-7-76 <br />-4- <br />Mr. bleat moved that this letter be sent to the Ohio Department of Transportation <br />as representative of Council's feelings with regard to this &avirosr®ental Igrpact <br />Stateareat, seconded by Mr. Wilamc-sky. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boeharer, Coggin, <br />Beringer, West, Wilagrosky. Motion carried. <br />2) another item brought up at this meeting was an access to Revere Drive so <br />that the children of the southern psart of Olmsted Woods could go up to the <br />High School because one of the rs is going to put up a Eases and a <br />proposed easement is in the adll. Mr. West has talked to the hoareowner and he <br />is agreeable and then it will also be an access after the highway is built to <br />Revere from Fitch Rd. <br />Mr. West stated the Bretton Ridge rs Assn. Representatives have made a <br />preliminary draft of their letter to the Ohio Dept. of Transportation State Highway <br />Dept. and have given a copy of snare to Mr. West late last evening. Mr. West has <br />given same to the Clerk with a request that copies be sitrt to all Council Myers. <br />Mr. Wilaarosky stated it was brought to his attention that the Board of Bretton <br />Ridge Civic Assn. will discuss the draft this evening and will have same determination. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mrs. Marie McLaughlin, 6993 Barton Rd., addressed Council and Administration <br />regarding bus schedules for the High School. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Victor Jacko, 24633 Randall Drive, addressed Council and Administration <br />with respect to the bus to Magnificat High School being cancelled. Discussion <br />ensued. <br />Mr. John Webster, 6011 Sherwood Drive, addressed Council and Administration <br />regarding bus to Magnificat High School being cancelled. Discussion ensued. <br />Mary Zarbock, 6588 Charles Rd., addressed Council and Administration regarding <br />what is to be done for children trying to get to school and being passed up by <br />buses. Discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Genevieve Rathke, 6795 Charles Rd., addressed Council and Administration <br />regarding the bus to Magnificat High School being cancelled out and the route <br />the children :east now take. Discussion ensued. <br />President Lampert requested Mr. Zoldesy, Superintendent of the Bus Line, to <br />contact a representative from Magaificat High School and also a representative <br />from North Olmsted Schools for a greeting to be held on Septearber 11, 1976, <br />10:00 A.M., City Hall, and have the representatives have specific inforaration <br />in order to resolve these problems. <br />Mr. Tim Quinn, 641$ Surrey Drive, addressed Council and Administration, regarding <br />problem he has encountered trying to rent one hour of prigre tine at the Rec Coa~lex. <br />Mr. Quinn is Vice President of the North Olmsted Speed Skating Club. Discussion <br />ensued. <br />Mr. Roger Gable, President of the North Olmsted Speed Skating Club addressed <br />Council and Administration with respect to what transpired. Discussion ensued. <br />President Ligq-ert requested Safety Director Carnahan to have a meeting with Mr. <br />Broader, the President of the Hockey Club, Representatives of the Speed Skaters <br />Club, Rec Coaisission to try and resolve this problem. Mr. Coggin wants to be <br />in attendance also. <br /> <br />
