Council Minutee of 4-20-76 -5- <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the parking for Putt-Putt Golf pending final <br />appxoval of Engineering Department, seconded by Mr. Coggin. Affirmative vote: <br />Beaty, Boehmer, Coggin, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamoaky. I~otian carried. <br />3) Committee studied a proposal for a furniture showroom for Barber Furniture <br />at 30710 Lorain Rd. and recoeaends approval. <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the prelis:inary plan and parking for Barber <br />Furniture pending approval by Engineering Departssmt, seconded by Mr. Coggin. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehaer, Coggin, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilmoosky. Motion <br />carried. <br />4) Committee discussed a proposal of a roadway of City owned lot to provide <br />access to the Industrial Area froye Barton Rd. <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the proposed roadtray, seconded by Mr. Coggin. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Baehmer, Coggin, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilaowsky. Motion <br />carried. <br />5) Committee received a letter and proposal from Priemsr Barnes S Associates, <br />Realtors, representing International Recreation dba United Skates of Aserica, <br />to build a roller skating rank in North Olmsted, Cosmittee will discuss this <br />further after Committee has had a c~-ance to study their proposal; <br />&) Committee looked over two proposals presented by IiQACA for housing for the <br />elderly in North Olmsted. At this time, are returning these proposals to <br />Council President Limpert for lack of infors~ation and proper site plans. <br />Letters, Communications: <br />Clerk read letter fxom Virginia ~dgins, Recording Secretary to Board of Zoning <br />Appeals calling attention to spacial permits granted by the Board at meeting of <br />April 7, 1976, with respect to cases of Donald DeChant a~xi'i7imothy Connors. <br />Mrs. Beringer stated she received coemwnlcation from the Bicentennial Comai.ttee <br />announcing their general meeting on April 25, 1976, 2:00 P.M., City Hall. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mrs. Patricia Dolan, 4322 Silverdale Rd., addressed Council as to conditions on <br />Silverdale Rd. and in particular woaas babied Pine School and the ditch that runs <br />down next to the school. Discussion ensued. Mr. Coggin asked Safety Director <br />Carnahan 1f he has heard from the Board of Education regarding their intent to <br />put soccer fields back there. Safety Director has heard nothing further and will <br />check this out. <br />Mrs. Tallarovic, 4359 Silverdale Rd., addressed Council regarding the drainage <br />condition between Silverdale and Selhurst Rds. and problems encountered. Dis- <br />cussion ensued. <br />Mr. Brandon, 4323 Silverdale Rd., addressed Council with respect to drainage <br />problems he encounters. President Lampert to see Mr. Brandon tomorrow and <br />check same out. <br />Mrs. Brandon, 4323 Silverdale Rd., addressed Council with respect to drainage <br />problems and flooding they are experiencing. <br />Mr. Brandon, 4323 Silverdale Rd., addressed Council regarding a juvenile problem <br />he is experiencing - vandalism, etc. Discussion ensued. <br /> <br />
