Council Minutes of 4-20-76 -b- <br />Mrs. Brandon, Silverdale Rd., discussed at length with Council the conditions <br />and happenings is the Pine Woods area. Mr. Goggin asked Safety Director Carnahan <br />to contact the School Board to see what their plane are. President Lispert assured <br />some action will be taken. Discussion ensued. Mr. Boehmer will contact Police <br />Department for concentration in this area. <br />Mr. Ron Rlimko, 3958 Woodpark Lane, addressed Council stating he represents his <br />homeowners association - Forest i~Tood - and discussed wandalisst in else area; also <br />trail bikes in that area; arud std if the City has a curfew ordinance and if we <br />do are We enforcing it. l~ca. Sari~er discussed subject of curfew oinanee at <br />length and answer she received from G~tef of Police last year upon her recoameada- <br />tion to enforce the curfew.. tbs. Samar stated she would like to go oa record <br />to the Safety Director and wants aa~ r if he is goiag to get these kids off <br />the streets and home to their parents at the time they are supposed to be off the <br />streets. Discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Cseplo, Butternut:~Ridge Rd., addressed Council with respect to the condition <br />of Butternut Ridge Rd. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Wolf, 26957 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council on the condition of <br />Butternut R~,dge Rd. and presented two samples of the material which he brushed <br />from his driveway since application was put on; also he had his house washed <br />down two Weeks ago and right now it has to be washed again. <br />Mr. Wally Clare, 26872 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council with respect to <br />dust, etc. on Butternut Ridge Bd.; also discussed reducing of the speed limit <br />to 25 mph and stated reasons therefor. Discussion ensued. Safety Director <br />Carnahan will have Police Department concentrate in that area for speeders. <br />Mary Slams, 4512 Oak Circle, discussed with Law Director Gareau the Burkett <br />Class Action suit, and statements made by Law Director Gareau earlier. <br />Mr. Vince Lynch, 4357 Danberry Drive, addressed Council with respect to odor <br />from the Treatment Plant. Law Director Gateau discussed same. Mscussion took <br />place by Law Director Gateau, City Engineer Childs and Mrs. Beringer, <br />Mrs. Chokan, Hampton Drive, addressed Council and Law Director Gateau on the <br />problem of mini bikes and trail tlst is being used near Bradley Wads area; also <br />what ordinance reads as far as where the bikes are permitted to be ridden; what <br />constitutes a nuisance; also discussed Park Board property. Discussion was <br />entered into by Law Director Garesu, Mr. Goggin and Mr. Wilamasky. <br />Mr. James Macon, 27886 Edgepark Drive, addressed Council with respect to trail <br />bikers using Cfty property. Law Director Gateau discussed subject. Also under <br />discussion was whether it is illegal to ride trail bikes in City parka. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No: 76-29 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids <br />fox 50,000 gallons of sodium alu~inate for use by the Service Department and <br />declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilaoosky mowed for adoption, seconded by Mr. Sharpe. <br />Affirmative vote: $eaty, Boeherer, Goggin, Beringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky.
