Council Minutes of 1-20-76 -4- <br />Mr. Ralph Stipley, Middleburgh Heights, addressed Council at length giving his <br />comments with reapect to Ord. No. 75-246. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Jerry Rougher, 6289 Christman Drive, addressed Council with reapect to <br />Ord. No. 75-246. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. James Kershoff, Columbia Rd., addressed Council with respect to Ord. No. <br />75-246 giving reasons for his opposition. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. P. Huffman, 5135 Dover Center Rd., addressed Council stating reasons why <br />he is opposed to Ord. No. 75-246. <br />Mr. Paul flornick, 4231 Fulton Rd., addressed Council with respect to Ord. No. <br />75-246. Discussion ensued. Law Director Gareau pointed out that the ordinance <br />in question is repealing 705.02 and we are retaining 705.01 which! prohibits any <br />misrepresentation. Discussion ensued. <br />Jane Hornick, 3781 West 38th St., addressed Council in connection with Ord. No. <br />75-246. <br />Florence Snodgrass, Florence 8aad, addressed Council regarding Ord. No. 75-246. <br />James Rougher, 6307 3urry Drive, addressed Council with regard to Ord. No. 75-246 <br />and who would police same. Law Director Garesu discussed subject. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 75-246 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance repealing Section 705.02 entitled "Advertising Prices" of Chapter <br />705 entitled "Eyeglass Advertising" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />North Olmsted. Mrs. Beringer nwved far adoption, seconded by tir. West. Affir~ative <br />vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilaaosky. 1~6otion carried. <br />Ord. No. 75-246 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 75-249 introduced by Mr. Lampert was gives its third reading. <br />A Resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio during the year 1976 all tax money due azul owing said City <br />from any collection source.- Mr. West moved for adoption, seconded by 2irs. <br />Sharpe. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggia, Saringer, Sharpe, West, <br />Wilamosky. Motion carried. Res. No. 7S-249 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 75-250 introduced by Iit. Beaty was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids on <br />a contract basis for janitorial services at the North Olmsted Recreation <br />Center Complex. Mr. Beaty moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Goggin. <br />Mz. Wilamosky asked Safety Director Carnahan if the specs are now available <br />and Safety Director Carnahan said they are. Roll Call oa Adoption: Affirmative <br />vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wila~sosky. Motion c:rrled. <br />Res. No. 75-250 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 75-259 introduced by Mr. Goggin wsa given its third reading. <br />A Resolution accepting far recording purposes only the Viers Subdivision <br />in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. Goggin moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. <br />West. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, <br />Wilamosky. ?lotion carried. Res. No. 75-259 adopted. <br /> <br />
