Council Minutes of 1-20-76 -4- Mr. Ralph Stipley, Middleburgh Heights, addressed Council at length giving his comments with reapect to Ord. No. 75-246. Discussion ensued. Mr. Jerry Rougher, 6289 Christman Drive, addressed Council with reapect to Ord. No. 75-246. Discussion ensued. Mr. James Kershoff, Columbia Rd., addressed Council with respect to Ord. No. 75-246 giving reasons for his opposition. Discussion ensued. Mr. P. Huffman, 5135 Dover Center Rd., addressed Council stating reasons why he is opposed to Ord. No. 75-246. Mr. Paul flornick, 4231 Fulton Rd., addressed Council with respect to Ord. No. 75-246. Discussion ensued. Law Director Gareau pointed out that the ordinance in question is repealing 705.02 and we are retaining 705.01 which! prohibits any misrepresentation. Discussion ensued. Jane Hornick, 3781 West 38th St., addressed Council in connection with Ord. No. 75-246. Florence Snodgrass, Florence 8aad, addressed Council regarding Ord. No. 75-246. James Rougher, 6307 3urry Drive, addressed Council with regard to Ord. No. 75-246 and who would police same. Law Director Garesu discussed subject. LEGISLATION: Ordinance No. 75-246 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its third reading. An Ordinance repealing Section 705.02 entitled "Advertising Prices" of Chapter 705 entitled "Eyeglass Advertising" of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. Beringer nwved far adoption, seconded by tir. West. Affir~ative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggin, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilaaosky. 1~6otion carried. Ord. No. 75-246 adopted. Resolution No. 75-249 introduced by Mr. Lampert was gives its third reading. A Resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North Olmsted, Ohio during the year 1976 all tax money due azul owing said City from any collection source.- Mr. West moved for adoption, seconded by 2irs. Sharpe. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Goggia, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Res. No. 7S-249 adopted. Resolution No. 75-250 introduced by Iit. Beaty was given its third reading. A Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids on a contract basis for janitorial services at the North Olmsted Recreation Center Complex. Mr. Beaty moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Goggin. Mz. Wilamosky asked Safety Director Carnahan if the specs are now available and Safety Director Carnahan said they are. Resolution No. 75-259 introduced by Mr. Goggin wsa given its third reading. A Resolution accepting far recording purposes only the Viers Subdivision in the City of North Olmsted.
