<br />respect to tree planting; however, would like to pre-empt Mr. West: the Finance
<br />Committee also discussed tree planting following the B'nvironmental Control Committee
<br />meeting. At last Council l~ieeting Council appropriated $3,000. for tree planting;
<br />and under item 12 of Finance Ccmmsittee report, the Maance Committee rec ded
<br />an additional $1,000. be appropriated. Baeed on the availability of trees the
<br />Finance Committee will be recommending an additional $1,000.over and above the
<br />$1,000. that had been reported out on at last Council Meeting. It is based on the
<br />availability of trees and Finance Ccmm~ittee will be awaiting the report from the
<br />Service Department and a report from the 8awironeatal Control Committee as to
<br />whether or not we are going to proceed with the planting of the additional trees;
<br />6) discussed amount of monep that is necessary fox the three additional policemen
<br />to the Police Department and it is ra ed that the amount of $6,2$5. be
<br />transferred into police items to eo~r wages, equipment, uniforms, etc.
<br />Mrs. Sharpe, Chairman Building, Zoning ~ Development Committee, reported Committee
<br />met on October 26th and discussed following:
<br />1) Magic Pan to be located at Great ~torthern Fall adjacent to May Company: Parking
<br />and landscaping were discussed and Committee has no objections:
<br />Mrs. Sharpe moved. Council approve the panting and landscaping of the Magic Pan
<br />Creperie, seconded by Mr. Beaty. Affirmative votes Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield,
<br />Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />2) Aamco Transmission Shop located adjacent to Gold Circle: Committee discussed
<br />landscaping, lighting and parking and has no objections:
<br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the landscaping, lighting and parking of
<br />Aamco Transmission Shop, seconded b1 Mr. qty. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer,
<br />Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />3) discussed Brendan Circle Subdivisicra - the asphalt T Type turn-around at the end
<br />of Elm Road and Committee has no ob~e~ctions:
<br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the T-Type tuna-around at the end of Elm Road,
<br />seconded by Mr. Fairfield. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer,
<br />Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />4) Special Permit needed by Mr. Walter Pelech, 23460 Lorain Rd. - Special permission
<br />to enclose a porch on a non-conforming home in a business use. Committee has no
<br />objections:
<br />Mrs. Sharpe moved Council approve the special permit to enclose a porch granted
<br />to Mr. Walter Pelech, seconded by Mr. Fairfield. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer,
<br />Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />5) the P.J. and J.J. Haas Subdivision which is on first reading tonight, the
<br />subdividing of two lots into one in a Ciass C development and Committee has no
<br />objections;
<br />6) the Sommerville Subdivision subdividing two lots into one on Root Road and
<br />Committee has no objections. Same is on first reading tonight;
<br />7) discussed letter received from Cite Engineer Childs in regards to simple
<br />subdivisions. Our present ordinances require that all new subdiv~.sions be approved
