Council Minutes of 11-1-77 <br />-6-~"~ <br />Mr. Fairfield scheduled a Recreation Committee Meeting for November 7, 1977, <br />7:30 P.M., City Hall, aad requested Mr. Copeland to bs in attendance. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Beaty referred to Mr. Roharik's report on sutvey taken at Burns & Southern <br />and recommendation to place a right turn sign as an advisory of the turn. Mr. <br />Beaty discussed with Mr. Wilamosky the p~rssibility of getting feedback from the <br />residents on this recommendation. Discussic-n ensued. Mr. Beaty scheduled a <br />Transportation Committee meeting on Nov+a~er 7, 1977, 8:15 P.M., City Hall, with <br />residents of Southern and $urns Rd. and Mr. Wilamosky. <br />Mr. Wilamosky referred to copy of com~unication written to the Mayor from Park <br />West Homeowners Association, copy to Council, dealing with noise level and noise <br />pollution caused by airplanes. .Mayor Christman discussed saw - has drafted a <br />letter of reply to that and will be glad to provide Council with information he <br />has on same. <br />Mrs. Sharpe requested Clerk to write to Mr. Costello, developer in Westlake, and <br />ascertain when he can meet with the B.Z.D. Committee. Would also like to have <br />Law Director Garesu in attendance aC meeting. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mr. Beaty requested Law Airector to dyaft legislation to cover parking of trucks <br />in residential areas. T~ has come to attention of Mr. Beaty that there are <br />problems with large trucks being parked in residential yards which is offensive <br />to the neighborhood. <br />President Lampert referred Ordinance No. 77-180 into Legislation Committee. <br />Mr. West moved for ad3ourcuaent, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affira-ative vote:Beaty, <br />Boehmer, Fairfield, Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Meeting ad3ourned to the call of the Clerk at 8:45 P.M. <br />~' <br />Nora T.
