Council Minutes of 4-19-77 -3- <br />His information shows that a signal is not justified. <br />If Council feels compelled to install this light, I would recoamcnd that it only <br />be done after a thorough invs~stigation by some outside objective consultant hired <br />by Council." <br />Clerk advised Council that on April 15, 1977, Mrs. Genma Szabo filed with the <br />Clerk an Initiative Petition prior to circulation of same, entitled "An Ordinance <br />amending Section 911.03 of the Codified Ordinances of the city of North Olmsted <br />entitled "Charges Generally" which is a part of Chapter 911 entitled "Sanitary <br />Sewerage System Charges". <br />Mre. Beringer stated she received a letter from the Code Authority of National <br />Broadcasters regarding the recent legislation adopted dealing with violence on <br />t.v. which letter thanked Council for letting the'Code Authority know their views <br />and they will incline Council's views in their context. <br />Mr. Wilamosky stated he received a communication from the Chamber of Commerce <br />which letter referred to the fire~rka display at the Shopping Center on July 4th, <br />and asking if Council would cvasider contributing $300. toward the cost of this <br />project. Mr. Wilaaosky stated he will take this under consideration with the <br />Finance Committee. President Lippert referred saner iato Finance Committee. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Ms. Georgia Sanchez, Kingsburp Drive, Rocky River, addressed Council in her position <br />of North Olmsted Playschool, Inc., a non-profit cooperative nursery school, and <br />discussed Ord. No. 77-66 which raises the rates charged for the Cosa4uaity Cabin: <br />explained her views and wondered if this was necessary; also asked for consideration <br />of a discount and explained reasons therefor. Mr. Boehmer discussed same.. <br />Mr. Richard McKean, 6023 Fitch Rd., addressed Council regarding when two houses in <br />the right of way on T-480 will be eliminated from their positions which are up on <br />jacks waiting to be moved and present a safety hazard, etc. President Lampert will <br />have same checked out and contact Mr. McKean. <br />Mrs. Minnie Crumbley, 24004 Ambour Drive, addressed Council asking if Clague Rd. <br />Park will have a policeman in the park this year. Mrs. Beringer discussed same <br />and requested the Safety Director to check into this to make sure one will be there. <br />Mrs. Gladys Zipp, 29658 Lorain Rd., addressed Council asking if there has been any <br />progress made in getting a paramedic unit manned at Fire Station No. 2. Discussion <br />ensued. Mr. Wilamosky requested Safety Director Roharik to discuss with the Fire <br />Chief what can be done as described by the Fire Chief in previous months to re- <br />schedule the manpower so as to allow for proper forces in the west end of town and <br />man that ambulance. President Lampert referred same to Safety Director. <br />Mr. John Maloney, 24782 Arlington Lane, addressed Council expressing his appreciation <br />regarding the report of a No Right Turn On Red at Great Northern Blvd. & Lorain Rd.; <br />discussed the opening of soccer season last Saturday; also the tournas~ent coming up <br />on July 2nd, 3rd and 4th; and discussed Ord. No. 77-63 and Ord. Na. 77-b9. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 77-50 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third readimg. <br />An Ordinance establishing the Organizational Chart of the Fire Department for <br />the year of 1977 and thereafter, setting forth the complement of the Fire Department, <br />
