Feels the change from <br />the Administration position from a flat 60X to the 3 mill levq has been an important <br />step forward in the City and would like Council to get the whole job done. <br />Mrs. Lois DeBrodt, 23141 Stoneybrook Drive, addressed Council with respect to <br />whether Council has considered a reduction for disabled people in the community <br />regarding the sewer proposals. Mr. Wilaawsky explained the homestead exemptions. <br />Mr. Paul Faxkas, Columbia Rd., addressed Council regarding a call from Service <br />Director Caster advising him that all of the senior citi$ens will have to pay <br />for use of the Community Cabin. Discussion ensued. President Pro Tem Beringer <br />scheduled a Legislation Committee and Council as a Whole meeting on March 29th, <br />immediately following the Special Council Meeting for review of the ordinance <br />with respect to charges for the Community Cabin. <br />Mr. Tom Gerity, 27$72 Southern Ave., addressed Council at length with respect <br />to a house and square footage th ereof, variances granted by various Boards, <br />and the Building Commissioner's interpretation of what constitutes a first floor <br />in a dwelling, and various ordinances in the Code, and is appealing to Council. <br />Lengthy discussion ensued. President Pro Tem Saringer referred subject matter <br />into B. Z. & D. Committee for review. <br />President Pro Tem Saringer called for a 5 minutes recess at 10:00 P.M. <br />Council Meeting resumed at 10:05 P.M. <br />Mr. Edward Henderson, 23635 Clifford Drive, addressed Council with respect to the <br />11 priority streets and asked where Clifford stands on that list. President Pro <br />Tem Saringex discussed same - according to the Streets & Drainage Committee it is <br />No. I but City Engineer Childs informed Mrs. Saringer tonight that he has drawn <br />up a list of priorities which is 1n the mail to Service Director Caster. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. John Farrel, 6670 Chadbourne Drive, addressed Council stating his support of <br />the 3 mill levy and would like to see the flat rate considered and gave reasons <br />therefor. <br />Mrs. Charlotte Klucar, 6105 Decker Rd., addressed Mayor Christman with respect <br />to the house to be built on sublot 506 on northwest corner to Decker Rd. and <br />Southern Avenue. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Leonard Klucar, 6105 Decker Rd., addressed Council with respect to the <br />building ordinances of the City. President Pro Tem Saringer referred same to <br />B. Z. ~ D. Committee with request to meet with Building Commissioner in order to <br />review some of the sections in the Code. <br />Mr. John Maloney, Arlington Lane, addressed Council on behalf of Park West Home- <br />owners, asking Council to reconsider the 3 mill levy combined with a flat fee <br />giving reasons therefor. Discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Lillian Ditter, Great Northern Towers, addressed Council and spoke in favor <br />of the 3 mill levy and rate of $7.45 on water usage. Lengthy discussion ensued. <br /> <br />
