Council Minutes of 3-15-77 <br />-7- <br />Mr. Allan Longer, 27842 Edg^park Drive, addressed Council regarding the water <br />rate and feels Council should put 3.t on the b::''_1~t and iet the people decide <br />what water rate they would like. <br />Mr. Bob Perry, 27150 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council regarding the sewer <br />rate and how it affects people in apartments. <br />Mrs. Barb Zergott, 6412 Bxighton Drive, addressed Council supporting Ord. No. <br />77-51 giving reasons therefor. <br />Mr. James Macon, 27876 Edgepark Drive, addressed Council regarding apartments and <br />low water usage; their swisining pool water running into the sanitary sewers, etc. <br />Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Philip Seiko, 6065 Decker Rd., addressed Council with respect to the <br />resurfacing of Decker Rd.; what material would be used - discussion ensued. <br />Mr. E. Henderson, Clifford Drive, addressed Council with respect to the xesurfacing <br />of Clifford and if it is going to be first. Mrs. Saringer again explained the <br />Streets 6 Drainage Committee priorities. Mrs. Saringer stated she is going to <br />make a motion to amend the appropriation ordinance to include the streets that <br />the Streets & Drainage Comm~.ttee has recommended. Feels this is the only way to <br />do good business - to appropriate a certain amount of money fox a certain street; <br />the money is there and it can be used for that street only. Discussion ensued. <br />City Engineer Childs explained what the list of the Engineering Dept. consists of. <br />The Engineering Dept. was given a list of streets with a request to check these <br />streets and determine the relative priorities. Mr. Childs had one inspector go <br />over all the streets and make his appraisal and assess the priorities. The <br />priority list is in the mail to Mr. Castex. Discussion ensued. Mr. Childs does <br />not remember exactly where Clifford stands on the priority list. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance P?o. 77-23 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its third reading. <br />A Resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Brendan Circle Subc~avision in <br />the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. ~l~rpe n~aved for adopt~Qn, seconded by Mr. Beaty. <br />Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, ~'e.irfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. <br />Motion carried. Ras. No. 77-23 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 77-32 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />Ordinance authorizing-the issuance of renewal notes in anticipation of the ' <br />issuance of bonds for the purpose of paying part of the cost of constructing a <br />Police Administration Building and clearing, landscaping and otheritiae is~roving <br />the site thereof, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for option, <br />seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Affirmative vase: Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Sari~er, <br />Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Potion carried. Ord. No. 77-32 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 77-33 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />An Ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other eftures <br />for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1977. <br />Mr. Wilamoskq moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Beaty. Affirmative vote: <br />Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Ord. No. 77-33 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 77-35 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its third reading.
