<br />MacBeth Avenue, to the Architectural Board of Review, seconded by Mr. Beaty.

<br />2) Committee also approved Mayor's appointment to the Civil Service Consaission:
<br />Mr. Boehmer moved. for approval of appointment. of Mr. Walter Spalding, 3463 Tree
<br />Lane, to the Civil Service Commission, seconded by Mr. bleat. Affirmative vote:
<br />Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, 3arimger, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />3) Conmaittee reviewed Grant that was approved in sqm of $4,797. for walkie talkies
<br />for the Police De~partmemt - City's share is going to be $240. The money has to
<br />be spent by June 30, 1977. Com~eittee wauld like to authorise .the Safety Director
<br />to g4 out fox bids and will request legislation under New Business.
<br />4) Committee reviewed S.B. 85 recd i~s still studpiag same. S. B. 85 states all
<br />new curbs and all existing curbs which are part~of any reconsts~ution shall have
<br />a ramp at each pedestrian crosswalk, This is to assist handicapp~ecl people in
<br />wheelchairs, etc. Request ttte B.Z.& D. Committee study same regarding new
<br />develapmsats and to make reccndatioms to Planning Cosmi.ssion.
<br />5) Conm~ittee discussed Patrolaan Kodey's recommendation that t~ streetlights
<br />be put ug at Westview amd Lorain-Rds. A traffic light had beep requested, however,
<br />Patrolman Rod?ey felt this would serve the pedestrians in crosssng Loraim Rd. if
<br />two 23,000 lua~em streetlights were to be installed in this arse. Request saw be
<br />referred to Finance Committee. President Lampert referred sa~ee into finance
<br />Committee;
<br />6) Committee approved work to be done on our two Fire Stations regarding roof
<br />repair.. We have an estimate on Station. #2 in amount of $2,975. and the Safety
<br />Director ease no reason why it should cost anymore for repairs to Station ~~1.
<br />Both stations are in need of repair. Request same be referred to Finance Committee.

<br />Mrs. Sharpe, Chairman- Building,. Zoning & Development Committee, reported Co~aittee
<br />met on February 10, 1977, and reviewed following items: 1)Brendam Circle Subdivision
<br />which ~.s on second reading ta-night, creating ten lots from one existinglot and
<br />Comm~.ttee has nn objections;
<br />2) Res. No, 17-24 -accepting fox recording purposes only C1ear~Gor Subdivision
<br />No. 1 ., the creation of two lots from one existing lot located on Marcie Lane east
<br />of Dever Center Rd. - and Committee has no objections;
<br />3) Res. No. 77-20 which is on second reading tonight, indicating the intent of
<br />Council to accept. for dedication Country Club $ivd. No. 4, and Committee has
<br />no objections;
<br />4) Res. No. 77-37 which is on first reading tonight, accepting for recording
<br />purposes only the Gettling Subdivision.- the creation of two lctCe from one
<br />existing lot, located an p.p. #232-31-5 west of Root Rd. and Cotm~.ttee has no
<br />objections;
<br />5) Improvement Plans, sewers, paving, water mains of the Ta~.lwood Subdivision
<br />consisting of 50 Class A homes located south of Byron Arive - Committee approved
<br />same.
<br />Mrs. Sharpe ipoved for approval of improvement plans of TallWood Subdivision,
<br />seconded by Mx. Beaty. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer,
<br />Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
<br />6) discussed with City Engineer Childs Ord, No. 77-40 'vacating a sanitary sewer
