Committee discussed this
with the City Engineer and developer, along with reviewing the proposed contract
that the City of Westlake will provide these homes with sewers for five years.
Committee proposed, and it is included in Ord. No. 77-38 which will go an first
reading tonight, that we allow the tie-in of these homes at the Dover Lift Station.
Our Engineer assures us that there is sufficient capacity and that the way this is
designed there is no way they can overload the system; they will pay us tap-in
charges and a sewer fee which is lOX higher than anything that we charge our own
residents. The Environmental Control Committee recommends that we make this
installation and it would be of no cost to the City of North Olmsted and will
yield over $100,000 for our sewerage system.
Letters, Communications:
Clerk informed Council that a Referendum Petition relating to Ord.
