Council Minutes of 2-1-77 -4- <br />Mr. Robert Mau, 27040 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council, with respect to <br />the traffic already on Butternut Ridge Rd., the schools sad library on the <br />street; the speed limit; the concern if the Stearns Rd. interchange is deleted <br />that more traffic will be on Butternut Ridge; the safety of school children., etc. <br />Mr. William Davis, 25912 Butternut R:.dge Rd., addressed Council with respect to <br />his concern regarding the traffic on Butternut Ridge Rd. and the traffic compounding <br />as the Shopping Center enlarged; would like to see Butternut Ridge a closed street <br />to thru traffic, etc. <br />Mr. T. Goble, 27588 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council with respect to the <br />number of accidents and speed on Butternut Ridge Rd.; his concern that there <br />will be more traffic on that street. <br />Mr. Wilamosky requested the Mayor to check the consent ordinance which the City <br />gave to the State on I-480 to determine whether or not the consent ordinance <br />contained a provision for a four leas bridge at Butternut & I 480. Discussion <br />ensued. Mayor stated he will check. President Lampert referred same into the <br />Transportation Committee. <br />Mrs. Sheila Collins, 6438 Christman Drive, addressed Council stating her reasons <br />why she feels the interchange at Stearns Rd. will not help traffic one way or <br />another. <br />Mr. Tony Seravino, 6765 Steaxas Rd., addressed Council with respect to the proposed <br />flat rate sewer ordinance stating reasons why he is against same. Mr. Wilamosky <br />explained the proposal in detail. Discussion ensued. <br />Mr. Robert Stromp, 6245 McKemzie Rd., addressed Council stating his reasons why <br />he is against the flat xate proposal with respect to sewerage charges; also <br />discussed County reappraisal of his .house. Discussion ensued. <br />Mrs. Madelyn Brookshire, 5140 Haa#pton Drive, addressed Council regarding the <br />Stearns Rd. interchange and questioned how people can be certain if people do <br />not get off at Steams Rd. they will go to Butternut; also discussed levies. <br />Mr. Jim Mayiras, 26706 Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council expressing his <br />concern about the Butternut Ridge Road situation; also snow in excess of two feet <br />on south side of Country Club Blvd. where school children must walk and commented <br />on the safety hazards. <br />Sandy DeGenero, Butternut Ridge Rd.., addressed Council regarding her concern <br />that Butternut Ridge Rd. will be widened to four lanes. <br />Susan Webb, Butternut Ridge Rd., addressed Council regarding sidewalks not being <br />shoveled. <br />Mr. Dick Spaeth, Tudor Drive, addressed Council, regarding haw he feels with <br />respect to the credibility between elected officials and the electorate and <br />stated reasons for his concern and why he feels it is getting worse. <br />Mr. Tony Sevarino, Stearns Rd., addressed Council regarding the widening of Stearns <br />Rd. <br /> <br />
