Baptist Church and Committee has no <br />objections; <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved to approve the additional parking at Columbia Road Baptist <br />Church, seconded by Mr. Beaty. Affis~a-ative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, <br />Beringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. ration carried. <br />7) Inwood Building Subdivision improvement plans which will consist of seven <br />homes and Committee has no objectioas: <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved to approve the Inwood Subdivision improvement plans, seconded <br />by Mr. Beaty. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Saringer, Sharpe, West, <br />Wilamosky. Abstain: Fairfield. Motion carried. <br />8) Revere Butternut Subdivision - one lot into two parcels for recording purposes <br />only and same is on first reading tonight. <br />Mrs. Sharpe moved to amend the Agenda to include Ord. No. 96-164 which will be <br />on third reading, seconded by Mr. West. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, <br />Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. <br />Mr. West, Chairman Environmental Control Committee, reported Committee met on <br />January 17th and discussed a proposed agreement between the City of North Olmsted <br />and Westlake to connect on a temporary basis a subdivision proposed in Westlake <br />into our sanitarq sewers. Requested Mr. Childs to ask the developer to be present <br />at Committee meeting on February 8th so that Committee may obtain further <br />information. Mayor questioned if the proposal had been turned dawn by Westlake. <br />Mr. West requested Mr. Childs to check this out. <br />2) would like to report that in response to request we had at Council that we <br />investigate the possible dust from fiber glass of the Recreation Center ductwork, <br />inquiry of federal and state government agencies determined this fell within the <br />Ohio Industrial Commission Mvision of Safety and Hygiene. They sent an inspector <br />out to the Recreation Center on November 24th, copy of report sent to Committee <br />Members. Basically report said that no visible dust was observed emanating from <br />the compressed fiber glass where it came into the vents; they also say that fiber <br />glass dust is listed in the American Conference of Governmental Industrial <br />Hygienists booklet as a nuisance or inert type material and quote from it that <br />it really is not a health hazard and that we do not have ~ problem here. Would <br />suggest all Members of Council receive copy of report; <br />4) Mr. West will testify at meeting to be held on January 20th by Commission <br />on Postal Service. Mr. West explained why Mrs. Saringer will not be able to <br />testify. Mr. West stated Mr. Prato has submitted a petition to Mr. West containing <br />109 signatures requesting door to door delivery, asking Mr. West to speak in <br />their behalf. Mr. West will submit a report to the Commission along with verbal <br />testimony. Mrs. Saringer stated that Congressman Ron Mottl will testify also at <br />the Hearing at 9:15 A.M. <br />5) Mr. West scheduled an Environmental Control Committee Meeting on February 8, <br />1977, 7:30 P.M., City Hall. <br />Letters, Communications: <br />Clerk read letter and petition from residents of Jenkiis Rd. requesting door-to- <br />door mail delivery. Same was turned over ~.o Mr. West to submit to Commission <br />on Postal Service. Mr. Wilamosky stated he hopes the R~esblution on Agenda <br />tonight requesting door to door delivery in new subdivsiot~s to the United States <br />Postal Service and the petitions will help the xesidents.. <br />~~~~.•{. <br />
