<br />Mrs. Beringer read communication addressed to her from Mr. IIonald DeChant,
<br />23515 Alexander Rd., regarding the proposed increar~ of bOZ~~acZ--sewer charge
<br />stating why he is against same.
<br />People addressing Council:
<br />Mr. Frank Sharpe, 26787 Driscoll Lane, addressed Council regarding safety factor
<br />involved in curbline mail delivery as well as discrimination.
<br />Ms. Leah Nowlen, 5676 Allendale, addressed the B. Z. & D. Committee with respect
<br />to the parking of Friends Church. Discussion ensued.
<br />Mr. Joseph Corrigan, 6369 Brighton Drive, addressed Council with respect to
<br />the passage of the no smoking ordinance; and speaking as a non-smoker gave reasons
<br />why he feels Council should consider not passing said ordinance. Discussion ensued.
<br />Mr. Robert Swietyniowski, 27284 Nantucket Drive, addressed Council with respect
<br />to the traffic light at Butternut, Porter & Lorain Rds, and synchronization of
<br />same. Mr. Beaty, Mr. Wilamosky, Mr. Carnahan discussed same. Mr. Swietyniowski
<br />requested looking at the possibility of a no left turn there.
<br />LEGISLATION:
<br />Ordinance No. 76-158 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its third reading.
<br />An Ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Cade of the City of North Olmsted,
<br />by changing the premises hereinafter described from Mixed Use District, General
<br />Retail Business District and Limited Industry District to B Residence District.
<br />Mrs. Sharpe rived far adoption, seconded by Mr. Beaty. Affirmative vote: Beaty.
<br />Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West. Negative vote: Wilamosky.
<br />6 Yeas - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ord. No. 76-158 adopted.
<br />Ordinance No. 76-159 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given its third reading.
<br />An Ordinance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North
<br />Olmsted, which Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted,
<br />by changing the premises hereinafter described from C Single Residence District
<br />to Multiple Residence District. Mrs. Sharpe moved for adoption, seconded by
<br />Mr. Beaty. Mr. Fairfield confirr~sd the fact that if this is approved by Council
<br />it will go on the ballot. Roll Call on Adr~ption: Affirmative vote: Beaty,
<br />Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ord.

<br />Resolution No. 76-164 introduced by Mrs. Sharpe was given i s third reading. A
<br />Resolution accepting for recording purposes only the Tallwaod Estates Subdivision.

<br />Beaty. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Beringer, Sharpe, West,

<br />Resolution No. 76-186 introduced by Mrs. Beringer was given its third reading.
<br />A Resolution declaring the necessity of repairing and replacing certain concrete
<br />sidewalks at sundry locations. within the City of North Olmsted, providing that
<br />abutting property owners repair and replace the same, and declaring an emergency.
<br />Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote:
<br />Beaty, Boehmer, Fairfield, Saringer, Sharpe, West, Wilamosky. Motion carried.
