A resolution opposing a cost of living formula to be y.cluded in Police and Firemen's Pension Fund rest:?ting in an increased cost to municipalities for employee pension benefits. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Saringer. 6 Ayes - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Resolution No. 78-138 adopted. Resolution No. 78-139 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. A resolu- tion urging the Regional Income Tax Agency to simplify their tax forms. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boeh~er, Logap, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Resolution No. 78-139 adopted. Mr. Logan coum~nted in regard to Resolution No. 78-139, that if a number of other municipalities were to adopt similar legislation it might have an impact upon RITA to simplify their tax fors~s and would hope that other municipalities would consider doing this. President Liapert said he would request the Clerk to forward copies of this legislation - if adopted - to some of the surrounding communities. Resolution No. 78-141 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise forbids for 4,000 tons of salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emer- gency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Baehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Resolution No. 78-141 adopted. Resolution No. 78-142 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bide for 2,000 tons of cinders and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 78-144 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac Gas given its second reading. An ordinance amending Section 311.06 entitled "Play Streets" of Chapter 311 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Street Obstructions and Special Uses". Ordinance No. 78-145 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Chapter 1229 of the Zoning Code entitled "Administrative Provisions" by adding thereto a new Section 1229.04 entitled "Referral to the Architectural Re- view Board".
