A <br />resolution opposing a cost of living formula to be y.cluded in Police and Firemen's <br />Pension Fund rest:?ting in an increased cost to municipalities for employee pension <br />benefits. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Roll call on <br />motion: Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, Wilamosky. <br />Negative vote: Saringer. 6 Ayes - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Resolution No. 78-138 <br />adopted. <br />Resolution No. 78-139 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. A resolu- <br />tion urging the Regional Income Tax Agency to simplify their tax forms. Mr. Logan <br />moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boeh~er, <br />Logap, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Resolution No. 78-139 <br />adopted. <br />Mr. Logan coum~nted in regard to Resolution No. 78-139, that if a number of other <br />municipalities were to adopt similar legislation it might have an impact upon RITA <br />to simplify their tax fors~s and would hope that other municipalities would consider <br />doing this. President Liapert said he would request the Clerk to forward copies of <br />this legislation - if adopted - to some of the surrounding communities. <br />Resolution No. 78-141 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise forbids for 4,000 <br />tons of salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emer- <br />gency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, seconded by Mrs. Sharpe. Affirmative vote: <br />Beaty, Baehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Saringer, Sharpe, Wilamosky. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bide for 2,000 <br />tons of cinders and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency.
