Council Minutes of 10-17-78 -7- LEGISLATION (Cont'd Ordinance No. 78-126 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordinance approving and adopting uniform rules., regulations as~:d standard$ for the design and construction of sewerage improvements. M7r~.Petrigac moved f+sr adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boeh~r, Logan, Fetrigac, Sharpe, Wilaumosky. Motion carried. Ordinance No. 78-126 adapted. Ordinance No. 78-133 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordinance transferring appropriations for current expenses aYtd other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 32, 1978, as amended. Mrs. Sharpe moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, seconded by Mr. Logan. Affirmative vote: Meaty, Boehmar, Logan, Petrigac, Sherpa, Wil~sky. Motion carried. Mrs. Sharpe moved for adoption, seconded by Mr. Logan. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Ordin- ance No. 78-133 adopted. Ordinance No. 78-134 introduced by Mayor Swietyaiowski was given its second reading. An ordinance authorizing the Mayor to accept a Tan Thousand Dollar ($l0,OQf?) grant from the Cleveland Foundation for the establishment of a Youth Diversion Program and authorizing the required Six Thousand Dollar ($6,000) matching funds. Resolution No. 78-136 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its second reading. A reso- lution authorising the Director of Public Safety to advertise forl~.ds for the construction of a stairway to the second story of the Recreation Complex. Mr. Logan moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, seconded by Mr. Boahm~er. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Boehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Mr. Logan moved far adoption, seconded by Mr. Boehmer. Affirmative vote: Beaty, Baehmer, Logan, Petrigac, Sharpe, Wilamosky. Motion carried. Resolution No. 78-136 adopted. Mr. Logan publically offered the appreciation of t~~e City to members of the Recreation Complex Advisory Board for their hard efforts in raising $1,000 to help us complete the stairway to the second story of the Rec Complex, and also to the Recreation Commission for the appropriation of $2,000. Ordinance Na. ?8-137 introduced by Mr. Wiiamosky was given its second reading. An ordinance amending Chapter 901 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted entitled "Opex±.ings and Excavations" by adding thereto a new Section 901:.09 entitled "Barriers and learning Devices" and declaring an emergency. Resolution No. 78-138 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A resolution opposing a cost of living formula t® ~ included in Police and Firemen`s Pension Fund resulting in an increased cost to aunicipalities for employee pension benefits. Resolution No. 78-139 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its second reading. A resolu- tion urging the Regional Income Agency to simplify their tax forms. Resolution No. 78-141 introduced by Mr. Wiiamosky was given its second reading. A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 4,000 tons of salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency.
