Motor Vehicle License Tax Fund. <br />Mrs. Petrigac, Chairman Environmental Control Committee, reported: 1) Mrs. Beringer <br />reported on the meeting with Maple Ridge residents and Mrs. Petrigac will get back <br />to the people with Service Director Coxrigan's report; <br />2) in receipt of letter from Mr. 30~ Lund of Finkbeiner, Pettis aad Strout, Ltd. , <br />who would like a meeting with the $nvir tat Control Committee in regard to <br />wastewater treatment and sanitary ffirage systems. Mrs Petrigac scheduled an <br />Environmental Control Committee Meeting for that purpose on May 10, 1978, at <br />7:45 P.M., City Hall. <br />Mr. Beaty, Chairman Intro Governmental Relations 6 Legislation Committee, reported: <br />1) Committee met on April 20, 19713, and amended Ord. No. 78-44 and same is on <br />second reading tonight; <br />2) discussed and will discuss further at next Committee meeting the county-wide <br />disaster preparedness council which the County Commissioners want to set up. <br />Mr. Boehmer, Chairman Public Safety, health & Welfare Committee and Transportation <br />Committee, reported Safety Com~ittse meC with Finance Committee and discussed Ord. <br />No. 78-50 and Committee has no objsctlons; <br />2) also discussed the nightwatchstan Tight between North Park Drive and Gardenia <br />Drive and Committee approved the installation of the light as did the Finance <br />Committee. <br />Mr. Wilamosky, Chairman Finance Committee and Long Range Planning Committee, reported: <br />1) Finance Committee met on April 25th with Safety Committee to discuss walkway in <br />area of North Park Drive and Gardenia Drive. It was general consensus of both <br />committees that the light be metalled to illuminate the walkway and Finance <br />Committee recommends the installation; <br />2) discussed Ord. No. 78-50 which amends Section 921.01 of the Codified Ordinances <br />entitled "Opening Fire Hydrant; equipment, permit, deposit and refund" of Chapter <br />921. Ord. Na. 78-50 amended the amount of deposit to $100. and the purpose is to <br />insure payment to the City in the sum of $15. per day for each day the applicant <br />opens or connects to afire hydrant. Committee recommends adoption; <br />3) Committee continued to meet and discussed Ord. No. 78-49 which amends Section <br />1501.1501 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Interest an unpaid tax" of Part <br />Fifteen of the Taxation Code. The current ordinance provides for a penalty of <br />6X interest per annum on municipal income tax remaining unpaid after they become due. <br />Ord. No. 78-49 provides for an increase from the present 6X to 10X. Committee <br />recommends adoption and explained reasons therefor; <br />4) met with Safety Director Petra and Mayor Swietyniawski and discussed a number <br />of organizational charts and salary ranges of those departments which are under <br />the director of the Safety Director. Committee reviewed a recommendation from Safety <br />r <br />
