An ordinance <br />authoriaing the Mayor to enter iato an agreement with the architectural finm of Ligaj- <br />Tomaik for the purpose of preparing detail.ed plans, spec3ficatione, and bid dcrcuments <br />for an addition to the Community Cabin which is to be uaed for a Senior Cesnter. <br />Ordinance No. 79-27 introduced by Mr. Baehser waes given its second reading. An ordinance <br />establishing a requirement that all 3ndlvidvsls actiag as privatte pokt , security <br />guards, and private investigators be rsquirad to reg3sCer with the Police T1epartment prior <br />to operating within the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 79-28 introduced by Mr. Boehoor was given its second reediag. An ordiuance <br />repealing Chapter 733 of the Codiff.ed t3rd3nauces ef the City of Narth d3nsted entitled <br />"Private Police". <br />Resolution No. 79-29 introduced hy Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. A resalu- <br />tion authorizing the 11irector of Public Safetq to actvertise for bida for one hundred <br />(100) pairs of rental skates for use at the Recreation Complex. <br />Resolution No. 79-30 introduced by Mr. Boeboer vas $iven ite second reeding. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Safety to adverCise for bids for a scoreboard for <br />Diamond No. 2 at North Olmsted Psrk. <br />Resolution No. 79-31 introduced by Mr. Baetmer was given its second reading. A resoiution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for fencing around the <br />Recreation Complex basketball courts and lighting for same. <br />Resolution No. 79-32 introduced by Mr. Boehmer was given its second reading. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Pub2ic Safety to advertise for bids for a field striper for <br />use in the Recreation Department. <br />Resolution No. 79-33 introduced by rir. A resolution <br />authorizing the Director of Public Safetp to advertise for bids for an engineering and <br />maintenance service contract £or the North 4lmsted Recreation Complex. <br />Ordinance No. 79-35 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />authorizing the Director of Law of the City of North Olmsted to settle the case of <br />Big 0 Oldsmobile, Inc., vs City of North Olmsted, Cvurt of Appesl.s Csse No. 39528, and <br />declariag an emergency. President Pro Tem Boehmer referred OaILnance No. 79-35 to <br />Environmental Control Committee. <br />Resolution No. 79-36 introduced by Mayor Swietynivwski was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Di.rector of Human Resources to advertise fax bids for the <br />construction of the North Olmeted Senior Center, and declaring an emergenep. President <br />Pro Tem Boehmer referred Resolution No. 74-36 to Recreation, Public Parks and Building <br />Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 79-37 introduced by Mr. Wilamoaky was given its first reading. An ordiaance <br />to make appropriations for curreat expenses amd other eapenditures for the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, for the gear ending Decemb$r 31, 1979. President Pro Tem Boehmer xeferred <br />Ordinance No. 79-37 to Finance Ccmuaittee. <br />14rs. Saringer commented on Ordinance No. 79-35 which was referred to Environmental <br />Control Coffii.ttee. It is quite obvious that the tree in question is not the same treQ <br />that it was four years ago. She purBUed thie legislation because of numrous camplainCs <br />over a period of years from people who said they had a difficult time seeing on-coming <br />traffic when entering or exiting the driveway.
