Committee'recommends approval with the under- <br />standing BZD Committee will review any lighting and landscaping plans when presented <br />in the future. Mr. Woerpel moved Councli approve the final plans for Phase lA of <br />development as stated, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />d. Taco Bell, 24247 Lorain ktoad. Proposal to construct a drive-thru <br />window. Approved by ARB on the 19th and Planning Commission on the 25the Directional <br />signs will be applied for at a later date. Committee recommends approval. Mr. Woerpel <br />maved Council approve the proposal to construct a drive-thru window as stated, <br />second by Mr. Bierman. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, McKay, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Wilamosky, Woerpel. Negative vote: Logan. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - <br />Motion carried. <br />e. Edward J. Flanagan, 27712 Lorain Road. Proposal to construct an <br />addition between existing buildings. Approved by ARB on the 19th and Planning <br />Commission on the 25th. On October 5th, Board of Zoning Appeals granted a special <br />permit for this facility. Committee recommends approval with the canditian that future <br />ground or pole signs must come back to BZD and Council for approval. Mr. Woerpel <br />moved Council approve the proposal to construct an addition between existing buildings <br />as stated, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. <br />f. Mongello and Associates Office Building, Clague and Lorain Roads. <br />The proposal is to subdivide into two sublots and construct a new office building. <br />Board of Zoning Appeals granted variance for less tfian 25,000 square feet on July 6th. <br />Planning Commission approved subdivision of Parcel 231-12-17 into two lots on <br />October 25th after much discussion concerning the platting of land. Proposal to con- <br />struct office building was approved by AR.B on the 19th, with Mr. Mongello abstaining, <br />and approved by Planning Commission on the 25th. Committee expressed concern about <br />two additional drives to be located directly across from a drive on the west side o£ <br />Clague and after much discussion, by a two to zero vote, recomends approval. Mrs. <br />Petrigac did not vote in favor of this and asked for additional time to study the <br />matter, Mr. Woerpel moved Council approve the nroposal to construct an office building <br />as stated, second by Mr. Bierman. Mrs. Petrigac described her experience in parking <br />at this location, studying the traffic flow, and trying to exit the location for over <br />eight minutes. Asked Council to hold off on voting until the BZD Committee could <br />meet with Mr. Mongello and resolve the issue of the two additional driveways. <br />Mr. Bierman withdrew his second; 1rir. Taoerpel withdrew his motion. <br />g. Great Northern Dodge, 26100 Lorain Road. Proposal to construct a <br />detached building on the property. Approved by A_RB on the 19th with the recommendation <br />that trees be added to screen the building fror.m the access road to the Recreation <br />Complex. Proposal tabled by Planning Commission on the 25th since no representative <br />was present. Great Northern Podge representative, Mr. Taylor, was present at the <br />BZD Coimnittee Meeting and presented a proposal which included ARB's recommendations. <br />Committee has no objection to the proposal but asked Mr. Taylor to appear before the <br />Planning Commission before asking for councilma.tic action. <br />h. Cleveland Tux, 25261 Lorain Road. Proposal to alter an existing <br />building. Approved by ARB on the 19th and Planning Commission on the 25th, as sub- <br />4D including signs. Committee recommends approval o£ alterations but withholds <br />recommendation regarding the signage until meeting with deveZoper's representative. <br />Mr. Woerpel moved Council approve the alterations to the building, second by Mr. <br />Bierman, unanimously approved with the exception of Mrs. Saringer who had left the <br />Council table at this point.
