Council Minutes of 10/4/83 <br />-4- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />? Resolution No. 83-114 introdueed by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 2,500 <br />tons of road salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-115 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the issuance of notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds <br />for the purpose of constructing, furnishing and equipping a combined Bus Garage, <br />Service Garage and Municipal Administration Auilding and improving the site therof, <br />and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-117 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance changing the name of that portion.of Ranchview Avenue, which lies to the <br />north of West Ranchview Avenue, and intersects with Tallwood Drive, from "Ranchview <br />Avenue" to "Tallwood Court". Mrs. Petrigac asked that an emergency clause be <br />added to Ordinance No. 83-117. Council had no objection. <br />Resolution No. 83-118 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. A <br />resolution urging Governor Richard Celeste to adopt regulations relating to the <br />shipment of high level radioactive matter through the State of Ohio, and declaring <br />an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved Council suspend the rule requiring referral of <br />legislation to Council Committee, second by Mr. [,lilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Mrs. Saringer moved Council suspend tb.e rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution Dto. 83-118 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-119 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending the Traf.fic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted to <br />create a fifteen (15) minute loading zone in the area of the Community Cabin in the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Park where the same will be located in the drive area at a <br />point twenty--five (25) feet south of the building line, and declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to Safety and Transportation Committees. <br />Resolution No. 83-120 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending achievement of <br />the Silver Award in Cadette Girl Scouting. Mr. ?ailamosky moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring referral to Council Committee, as well as suspension of ruie re- <br />quiring three readings, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously anproved. Mr. Woerpel <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution I3o. <br />83-120 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Bierman conmiended Mrs. Min Crumbley, Service Director's secretary, and the <br />rest of the City Hall staff for manning rhe phones and taking complaints with re- <br />spect to the cleaning of the Lorain Road water line last week. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked the Finance Director to supply her with a copy of the Auditor's <br />Report. Mr. Boyle stated he wouid do so. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked that the Environmental Control Committee discuss the location of <br />the newspaper and aluminum recegtacle at their next meeting since it will be moved <br />? from the new City Hall Complex.
