Council Minutes of 9/6/83 -9- <br />Mr. Wilamosky asked that the Safety Director investigate the demolition of an <br />unsafe structure and garage on Lorain Road that should have been completed by <br />this time. Mr. Petre promised to report back to Mr. Wilamosky after contacting <br />the Building Department. <br />Mr. Wilamosky also requested the Safety Director to see if any progress had been <br />made on the removal of a boat on Old Shore Drive in Timber Trails. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer reported on a meeting with representatives of the Deerf_ield area; <br />presented a copy of numerous problems in the Miller's Field area to the Safety and <br />Service Directors and requested them to read the report, as well as some of the <br />remedies suggested, and submit a written report with their comwnts by the be- <br />ginning of the week. <br />Mrs. Petrigac expressed her appreciation for the fine work done by the Fire De- <br />partment in exhibiting the fire equipment and emergency squad at the Homecoming. <br />She also appreciates tfie attractive plantings in front of Fire Station No. 1. <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Council Chamber Committee meeting for September 13th <br />at 7 o'clock and requested the Mayor and architect, Mr. Mongello, to be in attendance. <br />Mrs. Petrigac also requested a Council-of-the-Iahole Committee meeting for September <br />13th, immediately following the above scheduled meeting, to discuss Ordinance No. <br />83-109. <br />Mrs. Petrigac spoke on a point of personal priv3lege and expxessed hsr sorxow for <br />the action Council took tonight, especially since she did so mnch "homework" in <br />regard to the Senior Citizens' issue. <br />Mr. Wilamosky scheduled a Streets and Drainage Committee Meeting for September 12th <br />at 7:30 P.M. and requested the presence of the Finance birector, Service Director <br />and Commissioner of Public Works. <br />Mr. McKay scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting for Monday, September 12th, at 8:30 <br />P.M. and requested Safety Director Petre to be in attendance. <br />Mr. Lo$an scheduled a Transportation Committee Meeting for Monday, September 12th, <br />at 1:00 P.M. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting <br />at 10:35 P.M.
