Council Minutes of 7/19/83 <br />-4- <br />Mr. Gilbert Richland, Biskind Development Coiapany, displayed and discussed a re- <br />vised Iand use plan for the Great Northern Corporate Center. Mr. Woerpel moved <br />Council approve the revised land use plan for the Great Northern Corporate Center, <br />second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. <br />Before moving into Legislation, Mr. MeKay moved to amend the agenda to a11ow Ordin- <br />ance No. 83-99 to be added on first reading, second by Mr. Logan. Roll call on <br />motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, Logan, McRay, Woerpel. Negative vote: Petrigac. <br />4 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 83-99 added to agenda for first <br />reading. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 83-31 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Section 161.03 of the Codified Ordinances en- <br />titled"Employee's Vacations; Exceptions", as amended. Mr. McKay melved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-31 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-72 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance abolishing the Department of Budget and Management by repealing Chapter 167 <br />of the Codified Ordinances, and by further providing that the varous functions of the <br />Department of Budget and Management be assigned to Administrative personnel under the <br />direction and authority of the Mayor. Mrs. Petrigac moved to table Ordinance No. <br />83-72, second by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-72 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 83-74 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />diesel fuel, gasoline and lubricating oils, and authorizing the Mayor to contract <br />for same. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 83-74 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-77 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending Subsection (D) of Section 1000.10 of the Codified Ordinances entitled <br />"General Provisions" of Chapter 1000 entitled "Subdivision of Land", and declaring <br />an emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously <br />approved. Ordinance No. 83-77 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-80 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to file a renewal application <br />and enter into an agreement with the Ohio Department of Education for the purpose of <br />participating in Federal Surplus Property Program. Mrs. Petrfgac moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-80 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-81 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the organizational chart and composition of the Fire Department; <br />as well as salaries and various benefits for the employees of the Fire I3epartment, and <br />adopting various rules and regulations, and eatablishing employee rights, and declaring <br />an emergency, as amended. Mr. Bierman moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-81 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-82 introduced by Mr. Bierma.n was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance establishing the organization and composition of the Poliee Department; salaries <br />and various benefits for the members of the Police Department; various rules, regula- <br />tions and employee rights, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. Bierman moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-82 adopted.
