Council Minutes of 6/7/83 -7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 83-50 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />granting the Mayor, upon notice fram the City of Cleveland, Division of Water and Heat, <br />the right to proclaim a water use emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-50 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-51 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac and Mr. McKay was given its third read- <br />ing. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North <br />Olmsted to provide for the installation of a trafffc control signal on Columbia Road <br />at the intersection of Rose Road and Fawn Drive. Mr. McKay moved for advption, stcond <br />by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-51 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-53 introduced by Mr. McKa.y was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of North Olmsted, <br />a fund known as the "Trust and Agency Fund", and declaring an emergency. Mr. MeKay <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. <br />83-53 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-54 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance appropriating two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for the purchase of paramedic <br />equipment, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. McKay, unanimoualy approved. Ordinance No. 83-54 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-57 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. An ordinance <br />to authorize emergency body repairs to two (2) buses owned by the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, and declariag an emergency. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-57 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-60 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures <br />for the City of North Olmsted, dhio, for the year ending December 31, 1983, and declar- <br />ing an emergency, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. MeKay. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, Logan, McKay, Saringer, Gtilamuaky, <br />Woerpel. Negative vote: Petrigac. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. <br />83-60 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 83-61 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its second reading. A resolu- <br />tion accepting for recording purposes only the 7515 Subdivision No. 2 in the City of <br />North Olmsted, and repealing Resolution No. 81-14. <br />Ordinance No. 83-65 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olusted Board of <br />Education for the purpose of leasing the third floor of Butternut School, 27235 Butter- <br />nut Ridge Road, from the North Olmsted Board of Education, whi:ch will be used by <br />Horizons, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-62 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />establishing the complement of the Parks and Recreation Department, affixing the <br />compensation to be paid the members thereof and repealing Ordinance No. 82-45, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-69 introdueed by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Finance Director to enter into an escraw agreement for the <br />highway improvement of Lorain Road, S.R. 10, with the National City Bank of Cleveland, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved far suapension of rule requiring three <br />readings, second by Mr. Logan. Affirmative vote: Bierman, Logan, McKay, Petrigac, <br />Saringer, Wilamosky.
