Council Minutes of 6/7/83 -7- LEGISLATION (cont'd): Ordinance No. 83-50 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An ordinance granting the Mayor, upon notice fram the City of Cleveland, Division of Water and Heat, the right to proclaim a water use emergency. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Logan, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-50 adopted. Ordinance No. 83-51 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac and Mr. McKay was given its third read- ing. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted to provide for the installation of a trafffc control signal on Columbia Road at the intersection of Rose Road and Fawn Drive. Mr. McKay moved for advption, stcond by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-51 adopted. Ordinance No. 83-53 introduced by Mr. McKa.y was given its third reading. An ordinance creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of North Olmsted, a fund known as the "Trust and Agency Fund", and declaring an emergency. Mr. MeKay moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-53 adopted. Ordinance No. 83-54 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An ordin- ance appropriating two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for the purchase of paramedic equipment, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimoualy approved. Ordinance No. 83-54 adopted. Ordinance No. 83-57 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. An ordinance to authorize emergency body repairs to two (2) buses owned by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and declariag an emergency. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-57 adopted. Ordinance No. 83-60 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An ordin- ance to make and transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the City of North Olmsted, dhio, for the year ending December 31, 1983, and declar- ing an emergency, as amended. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. MeKay. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, Logan, McKay, Saringer, Gtilamuaky, Woerpel. Negative vote: Petrigac. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 83-60 adopted. Resolution No. 83-61 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its second reading. A resolu- tion accepting for recording purposes only the 7515 Subdivision No. 2 in the City of North Olmsted, and repealing Resolution No. 81-14. Ordinance No. 83-65 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An ordin- ance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the North Olusted Board of Education for the purpose of leasing the third floor of Butternut School, 27235 Butter- nut Ridge Road, from the North Olmsted Board of Education, whi:ch will be used by Horizons, and declaring an emergency. Ordinance No. 83-62 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An ordinance establishing the complement of the Parks and Recreation Department, affixing the compensation to be paid the members thereof and repealing Ordinance No. 82-45, and de- claring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. Ordinance No. 83-69 introdueed by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. An ordinance authorizing the Finance Director to enter into an escraw agreement for the highway improvement of Lorain Road, S.R. 10, with the National City Bank of Cleveland, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved far suapension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Logan. Affirmative vote: Bierman, Logan, McKay, Petrigac, Saringer, Wilamosky.
