Council Minutes of 5/17/83 -7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 83-44 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski waa given its third reading. An <br />ordinance transferring forty-six thousand, seventy-two dollars ($46,072.00) for current <br />expenditures of the City of North 0lmsted, Ohio, for the year ending I3ecemtaer 31, 1983, <br />and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adopCion, second by Mr. Logan, <br />unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-44 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-48 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance establishing a new Section 509.09 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Creating <br />a Disturbance - Consumption of Alcoholic Beverages" ot Chapter 509 entitled "Disorderly <br />Conduct and Peace Disturbance", and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Petriga.c tiaoved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance Pio. 83-4$ adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-49 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor to enter into a water service agreement with the City of Cleveland <br />whereby the City of Cleveland will furnish water to the City of North Olmsted and to its <br />citizens under certain terms and conditions. <br />Ordinance No. 83-50 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />granting the Ma.yor, upon notice from the City of Cleveland, Division of Water and Heat, <br />the right to proclaim a water use emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-51 introdueed by Mrs. Petrigac and Mr. McKay was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North <br />Olmsted to provide for the installation of a traffic control signal on Columbia Road <br />at the intersection of Rose Road and Fawn Drive. <br />Ordinance No. 83-52 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the C#ty of North Olmsted, <br />a fund known as the "Endowment and Grant Fund", and deelaring an emergeney. Mr. Woerpel <br />moved for suspension of ruie requiring three readings, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Wilamosky maved for adoption, second by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 83-52 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-53 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of North Olmsted, a <br />fund known as the "Trust and Agency Fund", and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-54 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance appropriating two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for the purchase of parsmedic <br />equipment, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-55 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its seeond reading. An ordinance <br />authorizing the Ma.yor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with the <br />Board of Cuyahoga County Commissioners wherein the City of North Olmsted is to serve as <br />lead agency in an application for a grant to assist in the degign and construction of <br />sanitary sewer system improvements and rehabilitation recommended in the Facility plan <br />Step 1 Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) Report and to construct improvements to the <br />North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment P1ant as designed according to the Facility Ylan Step 2 <br />and to perform other necessary matters for a Step 3 Federal Grant under the provisions <br />of the Clean Water Act Amendments of 1977, in connection with improvtments and additions <br />to the wastewater treatment and sanitary sewerage facilities of Olsmted Tcrwnship, as part <br />0 of the area known as rhe North Olmsted Facility Plan and declaring an emergency. <br />Mr. McKay moved for suspension of the rule requiring three readiags, second by Mr. Logan. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierma.n, Logan, McKa.y, Petrigac, Saringer, <br />Wilamosky.
