Council Minutes of 5/3/83 -8- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 83-50 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance granting the Mayor, upon notice from the City of Cleveland, Division of Water <br />and Heat, the right to proclaim a water use emergency. Referred to Enviranmental <br />Control Committee. <br />ordinance No. 83-51 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac and Mr. McKay was given its first <br />reading. An ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of <br />North Olmsted to provide for the installation of a traffic control signal on Columbia <br />Road at the intersection of Rose Rc>ad and Fawn Drive. Referred to Transportation <br />Committee. <br />ordinance No. 83-52 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of <br />North Olmsted, a fund knawn as the "Endowment and Grant Fund", and declaring an <br />emergency. Referred to Finance Commtttee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-53 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />creating a new fund, adding to the financial structure of the City of North Olmsted, <br />a fund known as the "Trust and Agency Fund", and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-54 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was givcti its f3rst reading. An ordin- <br />ance apprQpr3:ating two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) for the purchase of paramedic <br />equipment, and declaring an emergency. An ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor of the City of North 0lmsted to enter into an agreement with the <br />Board of Cuyahoga County Cousnissioners wherein the City of North Olmsted is to serve as <br />lead agency in an application for a grant to assist in the design and construction of <br />sanitary sewer system improvements and rehabilitation recownended in the Facility <br />Plan Step 1 Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) Report and to construct improvements <br />to the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment P1ant as designed according to the Facility <br />Plan Step 2 and to perform other necessary matters for a Step 3 Federal Grant under the <br />provisions of the Clean Water Act Amendments of 1977, in connection with improvements <br />and additions to the wastewater-treatunent and sanitary sewerage facilities of Olmsted <br />Township, as part of the area known as the North Olmsted Facility Plan, and declaring <br />an emergency. Referred to Environmental Control CoIInnittee. <br />ordinance No. 83-56 introduced by Mr. McKa.y was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an agreement with the <br />City of Fairview Park wherein the City of North Olmsted is to serve as lead agency in <br />an application for a grant to assist in the design and constructino of sanitary sewer <br />system improvements and rehabilitation recommended in the Faeilftq Plan Step 1 Sewer <br />System Evaluation Survey (SSES) Report and to construct improvements to the North <br />Olmsted Wastewater Treatment Plant as designed according to the Facility Plan Step 2 <br />Grant and to perform other necessary matters for a Step 3 Federal Grant under the <br />provisions of the Clean Water Act Amendments of 1977 as part of the area known as the <br />North Olmsted Facility Plan, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Environmental <br />Control Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 83-57 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its first reading. An ordinance <br />to authorize emergency body repairs to two (2) buses owned by the Idorth Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Transportation Committee.
