Council Minutes of 3/15/83 <br />-6- <br />Dr. Thaddeus Ma.ndato, President of the Board of Woodscape and Co-chairman of the <br />North Olms.ted Condominium Qwners' Association, stated that he was in favor of <br />trash removal by the City; realizes there are certain restraints which bind the <br />City as far as contracts, etc. Would like this to be taken back to Commi..ttee. <br />President Pro Tem Petrigac stated that the petitions regarding the condaminium <br />trash removal would be placed in the Finance Committee. <br />By general consent, Council recessed for a few minutes to allow the audience to <br />leave. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinanee No. 83-19 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of North Olmsted to pro- <br />vide for the installation of a traffic control signal on Dover Center Road at the <br />intersection with Brookpark Road Extension. Mr. McKay moved for adoption, second <br />by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-19 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-16 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing a new Section 107.15 of the Codified Ordinances entitled <br />"Financial Disclosure Statement Required" of Chapter 107 entitled F'Code of Ethics", <br />as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 83-21 introduced by Mr. GTilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for all Council At-Large Members <br />of the City of North Olsmted for the term of office commencing January 1, 1984, <br />and ending December 31, 1987, and declaring an emergency as amended. <br />Before the reading of Ordinance No. 83-22, Mr. Wilamosky moved to amend Ordinance <br />No. 83-22 by striking the whole text of the Mayor's recommendations with the <br />exception of the Title, the verbage in Section 1, but striking the line items, <br />and also leaving Section 9, Section 10 and Section 11 as is, and insert the amend- <br />ments as shown in Ordinance No. 83-22, marked Exhibit "A" and attached hereto, <br />second by Mr. Woerpel, unaniuausly approved. <br />Ordinance No. 83-22 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its seeond reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending Deeember 31, 1983, as affiended. <br />Ordinance No. 83-23 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending the Traffic Control Ma.p and File of the City of North Olmsted by pro- <br />viding for removing the prohibition of left turns between 4:00 P.M. and 6:30 P.M. <br />for all vehicular traffic traveling in a northerly direction on Dover Center Road <br />making left turns onto Mill Road. <br />Resolution No. 83-24 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. A reso- <br />lution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />illumination of a parking lot near the Community Cabin and the Senior Citizen Center <br />in the City of North Olmsted, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-25 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance appropriating fifty-four thousand dollars ($54,000.00) for cap3.tal expenses, <br />general obligation note issuance exDenses, and general obligation note retirement, <br />and declaring an emergency.
