Council Minutes of 3/1/83 _7_ <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 83-5 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance Nos. 82-103 and 82-104 previouslp adopted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved to table, second by Mr. MeKay, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 83-5 tabled. <br />Resolution No. 83-11 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advcrtise for bids <br />for 1,400 gallons of highway and crosswalk paint for use by the Service I3epartment, <br />and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. McKay, unanimouslp approved. Resolution No. 83-11 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-13 introduced by Mr. Logan was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 739.01 entttled "Posting Current Gasoline Priees" of <br />Chapter 739 entitled "Gasoline Service Stations" of the Codified Ordinances af the <br />City of North Olmsted. Mr. Logan moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Saringer. <br />Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Logan, McKay, Petrigac, Saringer, Woerpel. <br />Negative vote: Bierman, Wilamosky. 5 Aye - 2 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. <br />83-13 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-14 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to grant a license to <br />Springvale Coimtry Club and North Olmsted Golf Course to locate a sign within the <br />City right-of-way, as specified in said license, at the corner of Canterbury Road <br />and Butternut Ridge Road, in the City of North Olmsted. Mr. B3erman moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. Woerpel. 1to11 call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, <br />McKay, Petrigac, Saringer, Wilamasky, Woerpel. Negative vote: Logan. 6 Aye - <br />1 Nay - Motion carried. Ordinance No. 83-14 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-17 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance appropriating one hundred and five thousand dollars ($105,000.00) for <br />engineering to improve water service in various areas of the City, and declaring <br />an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-18 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to enter into an <br />agreement with Michael Benza and Associates for the purpose of providfng engineering <br />services to improve water pressure and flow in various sections of the City by <br />cleaning and relining various water lines and installing new water lines, and de- <br />claring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-19 introduced by Mr. McKay was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File of the City of Narth Olmsted to <br />provide for the installation of a traffic control signal on Dover Center Road at the <br />intersection with Brookpark Road Extension. <br />Ordinance No. 83-21 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance establishing and fixing the compensation for all Council-at-Large Members <br />of the City of North Olmsted for the term of office commencing January 1, 1984, and <br />ending December 31, 1987, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 83-22 introduced by Mayor Swietyniawski was given its second reading. <br />An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1983, as amended.
