Council Minutes of 2/15/83 _5_ <br />of the video tapes, entitled "North Olmsted - a City of Partnership and Progress", <br />at a cost of $122, whieh will be expended from revenues generated through application <br />reviews. CIC also approved an expenditure for Mrs. Slama to attend a six day <br />basic economic developnjent course sponsored by the Cooperative Extentfon Services <br />of Ohio State University, of approximately $665. <br />In answer to Mrs. Petrigac's question, Mr. Taiiamosky adVised that the current <br />assets of CIC are $6,450.00. <br />People addressing Council: <br />Mr. Sparky DiBen edetto, 190 Plqmouth Drive, Bay Village, stated that when Council <br />passed Ordinance No. 69-220 and Ordinance No. 69-221, through an error in the legal <br />description, a parcel of land at the corner of Dover and Brookpark Extension was <br />not included znd therefore was never rezoned. Would like this error corrected since <br />he has h$d it up for sale for two years now and cannot sell it with the present <br />zoning. President Boehmer asked the Chairman of the BZD Committee to please take <br />this under advisement and try to determine the facts and report back to Council. <br />Mr. James Cashin, President of Country Club Condominiums, expressed concern regarding <br />an Elyria Chronicle newspaper article of December 8th which indicated the residents <br />of Country Club Boulevard would be assessed for street repairs. Mayor Swietyniowski <br />advised that there would be no assessment; City is considering, in the budget for <br />this year, an appropriation to fund this street repair. Mayor also stated he has <br />been talking the Ward Covncilman to set up a mutually agreeable date to meet with <br />the residents for discussion. <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Ordinance No. 83-6 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance accepting for dedication the Westmark Development Company Subdivision No. 1, <br />which includes Woodside Drive and Deepwoods Way, in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. Gloerpel, unanimously approved. <br />Ordinance No. 83-6 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 83-7 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />reso kitipn authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 50,000 <br />gallons of sodium aluminate for use by the North Olmsted Wastewater Treatment <br />Facilities Plant. Mr. tailamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 83-7 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-8 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the cancellation of special assessments on <br />certain permanent parcels, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamasky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. McKay, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-8 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-9 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor of the City of North Olmsted to negotiate and, if <br />the terms are proper, to enter into an agreement with the City of Westlske, Ohio, <br />for the purpose of erecting traffic control signals at the intersection of Fawn <br />Drive and Rose Road, whieh interseetion is partially located in Westlake, and <br />partially located in the City of North Olmsted. Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, <br />second by Mrs. Saringer, unsenimously approved. Ordinance No. 83-9 adopted. <br />Mrs. Petrigac moved Council amend the agenda to reconsider Ordinance No. 82-160, <br />as amended, second by Mr. Woerpel, unanimously approved. Mrs. Petrigac moved Council <br />reconsider Ordinance No. 82-160, as amended, second by Mr. Woerpel. Ro1Z call on <br />motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, Petrigac, Woerpel. Negative vote: Logan, McKay, <br />Saringer, Wilamosky. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - Motion defeated.
