Council Minutes of 12/4/84 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 84-114 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution recommending that the Ohio Department of Transportation take immediate <br />steps to commence construction on the relocation of Route 252 which falls north <br />of Lorain Road and at the same time recommending that the Ohio Department of <br />Transportation refrain from closing off the existing Route 252 at Bodecker Hill <br />until such time as the aforesaid section of Route 252 is completed. Referred to <br />Transportation Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-115 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer funds for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 19$4. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-116 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the <br />City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1984. Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-117 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the Budget Commission <br />and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the County Auditor. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. [ailamosky moved for adoption, second by <br />Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-117 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-118 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution directing the Auditor of Cuyahoga County to pay to the City of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the year 1985, all tax. money due and owing said City from any <br />collection source. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of rule requiring three <br />readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Mr. Wilamosky moved for <br />adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-118 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-119 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first <br />reading. An ordinance to make appropriations for current expenses and other <br />expenditures for the City of North Olmsted for the year ending December 31, 1985. <br />Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-120 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing the complement of the Parks and Recreation Department, <br />affixing the compensation to be paid the members thereof and repealing Ordin- <br />ance No. 83-132, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Recreation Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-121 introduced by Mr. Bierman on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the public <br />service of Lieutenant Walt H. Christman. Mr. Bierman moved for suspension of rule <br />requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. r4r. Resolution No. <br />84-121 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-122 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance approving the extension of sanitary sewer services to approximately <br />forty-five acres of land south of Cook Road, consisting of approximately two hundred <br />forty residential lots located in Olmsted Township. Referred to Streets and Drainage <br />Committee. <br />
