<br />Council Minutes of 9/18/84 <br />-3- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-86 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance consenting to the maintenance and repair of certain streets and roads by <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. Referred to Finance <br />Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-87 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons. of cinders and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring <br />an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-88 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,500 tons of road salt and authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and de- <br />Glaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-89 .introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance ratifying and confirming the hiring of Boss Construction Incorporated <br />for the purpose of repairing Country Club Boulevard in the amount of $8,103.90, <br />which amount exceeds the bid limitation, and declaring an emergency. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-90 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance designating Porter Road, from Lorain Road north to the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Corporation Line, as a residential street rather than a through highway <br />and also establishing a 25 miles per hour speed limit, and. declaring an emergency. <br />Referred to Public Safety, Health and Welfare Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-91 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 915 of the Codified Ordinances en- <br />titled "User Charge System", and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee.. <br />Ordinance No. 84-92 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance establishing user charges for the use of waste water treatment services <br />of the North Olmsted Sewage Treatment Utility, and declaring an emergency. Referred <br />to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-93 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer and make appropriations for current expenses and other expendi- <br />tures for the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the. year ending December 31, 1984, <br />and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Ordinance No. 84-94 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into a contract with the <br />Cuyahoga County Sanitary Sewer District to purchase a used trailer-mounted sewer <br />vacuum unit, and declaring an emergency. Referred to Finance Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mr. Tallon stated that several months ago he had requested information about the <br />drainage problem at the Rec Center; Mayor had promised to look into it and advise. <br />Has not heard anything as yet. Mayor reported that there is equipment at the Rec <br />Center right now; is not sure what portion is being worked on; whether they are getting <br />ready to do it or whether they are into it right now, he can't exactly say. <br />
