Council Minutes of 7/3/84 <br />-5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-57 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the City to "pick up" employee contributions to the Ohio <br />Public Employees Retirement System (PERS). <br />Resolution No. 84-58 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the North Olmsted Landmarks Commission to make application <br />to the Ohio Historic Preservation Office for a grant-in-aid far Fiscal Years 1984- <br />1985, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved for suspension of rule requir- <br />ing three readings, second by Mr. Rademaker. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: <br />Bierman, Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: O'Grady. <br />6 Aye - 1 Nay - Motion carried. Mrs. Petrigac moved for adoption, second by Mr. <br />Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-58 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-59 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the City to "pick up" employee contributions to the Ohio <br />Police and Fir.emens' Disability and Pension Fund (PFDPF). <br />Ordinance No. 84-60 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance of the City Council of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, authorizing the <br />execution of an agreement with Fogg-North Olmsted Ltd., pertaining to the financing <br />of a commercial and industrial facilities and equipment located within the boundaries <br />of the City to be financed through the issuance and sale of Industrial Development <br />First Mortgage Revenue Bonds of the City pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 165 of <br />the revised code and declaring an urgency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordin- <br />ance No. 84-60 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-61 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance retaining legal services of Amer, Cunningham and Brennan Company, L.P.A., <br />relating to the financing, of a project pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 165 of <br />the revised code, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension of <br />rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Ordin- <br />ance No. 84-61 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-62 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance amending Section 549.10 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Sale of <br />Fireworks", of Chapter 549 entitled "Taeapons and Explosives", and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-63 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance to transfer appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for <br />the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1984, and declar- <br />ing an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-64 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac and Mrs. Saringer was given its first <br />reading. An ordinance providing for submission to the electors of the City of North <br />Olmsted of a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted by pro- <br />viding for a new section relating to the elimination of staggered legislative and <br />administrative terms of office and providing for the terms of office for all elected <br />officials, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />
