Council Minutes of 6/5/84 -6- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-45 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 84-6 entitled "an ordinance to accept an <br />easement for the installation and maintenance of a water line for the purpose of <br />supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to land owned by Great Northern <br />Shopping Center". Referred to Environmental Control Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-46 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Mayor or his duly authorized designate to represent <br />the City of North Olmsted on the Regional Water Council of Governments. Referred <br />to Environmental Control Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-47 introduced by Mr. Bierman on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the public <br />service of Assistant Fire. Chief Richard P, Lampert. Mr. Bierman moved for sus- <br />pension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously <br />approved. Mr. Bierman moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 84-47 adopted. <br />Clerk of Council read Resolution No. 84-47 in its entirety. Assistant Fire Chief <br />Lampert was recognized and congratulated by Council and the Administration. <br />Resolution No. 84-48 introduced by Mr. Bierman on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the achieve- <br />meat of the Eagle Scout Award in Boy Scouting. Mr. Bierman moved for suspension <br />of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously. approved. <br />Mr. Bierman moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 84-48 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-49 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowskf was given its first reading. <br />An ordinance establishing the Organizational Chart of the Building Department, <br />setting forth the complement of the Building Department and establishing the compen- <br />sation to be paid to the employees of the Building Department and repealing Ordin- <br />ance No. 78-75 enacted June 20, 1978, and declaring an emergency. Referred to <br />Finance Committee. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac pointed out that back on May 1st she had asked the Mayor about the <br />services available through NOACA and he had promised to provide the information. <br />She has not received it. Mayor responded that he has received the booklet he <br />requested; is sorry he did not get it to Mrs. Petrigac. Mrs. Petrigac asked that <br />it be put in her Council Office box. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked if Mr. Ben Wright and Mr. Valore had paid for the City-owned <br />houses that they bought through the auction. Finance Director Boyle said no, there <br />was some confusion over the notification of the Board of Control Meeting. He had <br />sent a letter stating that the money was now due, thirty days after receipt of the <br />letter; does not think it has been thirty days yet. Mrs. Petrigac stated it has <br />been over thirty days; requested that Mr. Boyle check on both the buyers. Also, <br />add the cost of the demolition to Mr. Valore's bill. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac requested that the Legislation Committee meet and report out on the <br />appointment for the Landmarks Commission; they would like to work on homecoming <br />and need the vacancy filled, <br />,.,...,~, H. ~,, .~ . .:.., , :. _ .~.~,~ <br />
