Council Minutes of 4/17/84 -4- <br />LEGISLATION: <br />Resolution No. 84-10 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />one (1) Jet Vac cleaning machine and one (1) one-ton flat bed truck with power lift <br />gate and dump bed for use at the Wastewater Treatment Facilities Plant, and author- <br />izing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency, as amended. Mr. <br />Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolu- <br />tion No. 84-10 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-17 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its third reading. An ordin- <br />ance adopting a new and revised Chapter 559 of the Codified Ordinances of the City <br />of North Olmsted entitled "False Alarms and Malfunctioning Alarm Systems". Mr. <br />O'Grady moved for adoption, second by Mrs. Petrigac, unanimously approved. Ordinance <br />No. 84-17 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-18 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its third reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />janitorial service for the administrative wing of North Olmsted City Hall, and de- <br />claring an emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved to amend Resolution No. 84-18, Section <br />1, to read: "and that upon approval by the Board of Control, AFTER HAVING CONFERRED <br />WITH COUNCIL, the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted", second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously <br />approved. Resolution No. 84-18 amended and placed back on second reading. <br />Resolution No. 84-21 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for <br />janitorial service for the North Olmsted Recreation Complex, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mrs. Petrigac moved to amend Section 1 to read "and that upon approval <br />by-the Board of Control, AFTER HAVING CONFERRED WITH COUNCIL, the Mayor is hereby <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of the City of <br />North Olmsted", second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-21 <br />amended and placed back on second reading. <br />Resolution No. 84-22 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 500 <br />cubic yards of concrete for Service Department road repair needs and authorizing <br />the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved <br />for adoption, second by Mr. Tallon, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-22 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-23 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for 1,800 <br />gallons of highway and crosswalk paint for. use by the Service Department, and author- <br />izing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky <br />moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution No. <br />84-23 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-24 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs-and authorizing the Mayor to <br />contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, <br />second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. Resolution No. 84-24 adopted. <br />v <br />
