Council Minutes of 4/17/84 <br />-5- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 84-25 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of City streets and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. Mr. Tallon moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Resolution. No. 84-25 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-30 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowski was given its second reading. <br />A resolution assuring the approval of the Council of the City of North Olmsted in <br />connection with the Industrial Pretreatment Program costs as outlined in Appendix C, <br />Section C.8, Administrative and Annual Program Costs, of the Pretreatment Program <br />Documents, and authorizing the Mayor to file the City's Industrial Pretreatment <br />Program with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-3I introduced by Mr. O'Grady and Mr. Bierman was given its second <br />reading. An ordinance changing the name of Reed Road from "Reed Road" to <br />"Kenny Lane". <br />Ordinance No. 84-32 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An ordin- <br />ance providing for the amendment of the Zone Map of the City of North Olmsted, which <br />Zone Map is part of the Zoning Code of the City of North Olmsted, by changing the <br />premises hereinafter described from Class B High-Rise Business Office and Professional <br />District to General Retail Business District. <br />Ordinance No. 84-37 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for the <br />purchase of one (1) 1984 automobile to be used by the Mayor. <br />Ordinance No. 84-38 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance amending Section 1000.10 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, <br />entitled "General Provisions" of Chapter 1000 entitled "Subdivision of Land". <br />Ordinance No. 84-39 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its first reading. An ordin- <br />ance authorizing the sale of surplus personal property, owned by the City of North <br />Olmsted, and previously used by the Department of Public Services, and declaring an <br />emergency. <br />Under Old Business: <br />Mrs. Saringer asked the Law Director if there had been a solution to the Zayre/Rini <br />problem; what is latest information. Law Director Gareau reported that one solution <br />was to permit a cut-through from Brookpark Road. This was reviewed by ODOT and they <br />approved. They set some standards and conditions relative to the property owner, <br />Mr. Stark, utilizing that method. Law Director has not heard yet whether or not <br />that is acceptable - whether the standards can be met. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked if the person who had bid on the two homes, formerly used by <br />the City and subsequently demolished by the City, had paid for the demolition. <br />Mayor reported he had not. Mrs. Petrigac asked if any legal action was contemplated. <br />Law Director advised that he has asked a number of times for information relative to <br />this, such as date of bidding etc., and has stated all along that this person is <br />liable for the amount of his bid. Mrs. Petrigac requested that the Mayor have Service <br />Director Corrigan get all the information to the Law Director as soon as possible. <br />Mayor stated that he would take care of this:. <br />
