Council Minutes of 3/20/84 -6- <br />LEGISLATION {cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 84-11 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its third reading. An <br />ordinance superseding and repealing Ordinance Numbers 74-166, 75-195, 77-31 and <br />77-64, entitled "an ordinance to provide for proper grading of land to provide for <br />the drainage of surface water within the City of North Olmsted by providing for the <br />further regulation and inspection of the installation of private storm water <br />drainage systems, as amended". Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. <br />Bierman, unanimously approved. Ordinance No. 84 11 adopted. <br />Ordinance No. 83-137 introduced by Mr. Bierman was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 1174.06 of the Zoning Code entitled "Rear Yard Restrictions" <br />of Chapter 1174 entitled "Height and Area Regulations for Retail Business Districts", <br />as amended. <br />Ordinance No. 84-15 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance increasing the Administrative Petty Cash Fund from Fifty Dollars ($50.00) <br />to One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150.00). <br />Ordinance No. 84-16 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was-given its second reading. An <br />ordinance transferring funds for current expenses and other expenditures for the City <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio, for the year ending December 31, 1984. <br />Ordinance No. 84-17 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its first reading. An <br />ordinance adopting a new and revised Chapter 559 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of North Olmsted entitled "False Alarms and Malfunctioning Alarm Systems". <br />Referred to Safety Committee. <br />Resolution No. 84-18 introduced by Mayor Swietyniowsky was given its first reading. <br />A resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />janitorial service for the Administration wing of North Olmsted City Hall, and <br />declaring an emergency. A <br />resolution urging passage of Senate Bill No. 27 which provides for excluding from <br />the rate process costs for the construction of new power plants prior to their <br />completion and/or their ability to provide service to consumers, and declaring an <br />emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for suspension of rule requiring three readings, <br />second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, <br />second by Mr. O'Grady. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Saringer, Tallon, Wilamosky. Negative vote: Rademaker. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - <br />Motion carried. Resolution No. 84-19 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-20 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its first reading, A <br />resolution objecting to the proposed 15% rate increase requested by the Cleveland <br />Electric Illuminating Company, and declaring an emergency. Mrs. Saringer moved for <br />suspension of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously <br />approved. Mrs. Saringer moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously <br />approved.
