` ~• 'Council Minutes of 3/20/84 -7- <br />LEGISLATION (cont'd): <br />Resolution No. 84-22 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for 500 cubic <br />yards of concrete for Service Department road repair needs and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 84-23 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />1800 gallons of highway and crosswalk paint for use by the Service Department and <br />authorizing the Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 84-24 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />2,000 tons of stone for various Service Department needs and authorizing the <br />Mayor to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 84-25 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its first reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Service to advertise for bids for <br />5,000 tons of asphalt and tack coating of City streets and authorizing the Mayor <br />to contract for same, and declaring an emergency. <br />Resolution No. 84-26 introduced by Mr. Bierman on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the public <br />service of Councilman at Large Dwayne R. Woerpel. Mr. Bierman moved for suspension <br />of rule requiring three readings, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Bierman moved for adoption, second by Mr. Wilamosky, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 84-26 adopted. <br />Resolution No. 84-27 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky on behalf of the Mayor and the <br />entire Council was given its first reading. A resolution commending the public <br />service of Councilman at Large Farrell Dean McKay. Mr. Wilamosky moved for suspension <br />of rule requiring three readings, second by Mrs. Saringer, unanimously approved. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved for adoption, second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. <br />Resolution No. 84-27 adopted. <br />Under Old Business: <br />In answer to Mrs. Petrigac's question regarding health insurance, Mayor Swietyniowski <br />stated that the City did not go out for bids; is waiting until next month, when the <br />final figures come back, to see what the reductions are. <br />Mrs. Petrigac asked that Ordinance No. 83-128 be brought out of committee and <br />placed on the agenda for April 3, 1984. <br />Under New Business: <br />Mrs. Petrigac scheduled a Transportation Committee Meeting for March 29th at 8:15 P.M. <br />Mr. O'Grady scheduled a Safety Committee Meeting for March 27th at 7:00 P.M. <br />Mayor Swietyniowski stated he had received a 1984 project plan for the airport and <br />would make copies available to anyone requesting same. <br />There being no further business, President Boehmer adjourned the Council Meeting at <br />10:00 P,M. <br />Florence E, Campbell Cler of Council a$tes D.
