Council Minutes of 2/21/84 -5- <br />LEGTSLATION (cont'd): <br />Ordinance No. 83-96 introduced by Mr. T+Iilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending Section 165.0.3 of the Codified Ordinances entitled "Landmarks <br />Commission; Creation, Composition and Terms", of Chapter 165 entitled "Landmarks <br />Commission". <br />Ordinance No. 83-124 introduced by Mr. Bierman, was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance providing for the adoption of a new Section 1173.02(H)2 of the Zoning Code <br />of the City of North Olmsted of Chapter 1173 entitled "General Retail Business <br />District", as amended. <br />Resolution No. 84-4 introduced by Mrs. Petrigac was given its second reading. A <br />resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety to advertise for bids for four <br />(4) new police cars to be used by the Police Department; one (I) new car to be used <br />by the Safety Director; one (1) new pick-up truck to be used by the Parks and <br />Recreation Department and one (1) new chassis for Squad 51 to be used by the North <br />Olmsted Fire Department. <br />Mrs. Petrigac moved to amend Resolution No. $4-4 by deleting "one (1) new pick-up <br />truck" and inserting "one (1) four to five ton dump truck" to be used by the Parks <br />and Recreation Department, in the title as well as in the body of the resolution, <br />second by Mr. Bierman. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: Bierman, O'Grady, <br />Petrigac, Rademaker, Saringer, Tallon. Negative vote: Wilamosky. 6 Aye - 1 Nay - <br />Motion carried. Resolution No. 84-4 amended. <br />Mrs. Petrigac moved to amend Resolution No. 84-4 be deleting "one (1) new car to be <br />used by the Safety Director" in the title as well as in the body of the resolution, <br />second by Mrs. Saringer. Roll call on motion: Affirmative vote: O'Grady, Petrigac, <br />Saringer. Negative vote: Bierman, Rademaker, Tallon, Wilamosky. 3 Aye - 4 Nay - <br />Motion failed. Mr. Wilamosky explained that his "no" vote did not necessarily mean <br />that he would not express a different view in committee. In light of the two amend- <br />ments, Clerk of Council will provide Members of Council with corrected legislation. <br />Ordinance No. 8485 introduced by Mrs. Saringer was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with [aalter Drane Company <br />for the purpose of recodifying the ordinances of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Ordinance No. 84-6 introduced by Mr. Tallon was given its second reading. An ordinance <br />to accept an easement for the installation and maintenance of a water line for the <br />purpose of supplying water service by the City of Cleveland to land owned by Great <br />Northern Shopping Center. <br />Ordinance No, 84-7 introduced by Mr. O'Grady was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map and File. of the City of North Olmsted <br />by prohibiting parking at any time on both sides of Country Club Boulevard, from <br />Victoria Lane to Columbia Road, and declaring an emergency. <br />Ordinance No. 84-9 introduced by Mr. Wilamosky was given its second reading. An <br />ordinance consenting to the maintenance and repair of certain streets and roads by <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga County and declaring an urgency. <br />Mr. Wilamosky moved Council retire and void Resolution No. 83-47, a resolution opposing <br />Senate Bi11 133, establishin¢ collective bargaining rights for Ohio's public employees, <br />and declaring an emergency, as well as Ordinance No. 83-143, an ordinance amending <br />Section 529.10 entitled "Possession or Consumption in Public Places" of Chapter 529 <br />entitled "Liquor Control", second by Mr. O'Grady, unanimously approved. Resolution <br />No. 83..47 and Ordinance No. 83-143 voided. <br />
